Just Because the Gentleman Needed a Makeover

When I invited Gavin over this afternoon, it was under the pretense that we would be watching the Lakers play Miami… or something like that. But surprise! Gavin was ambushed, and I dragged him out to get some new clothes. Seriously, I was so sick and tired of seeing him in those holey jeans and raggedy t-shirts with the ring-around-the-collar. It was way past time for some new threads!

Gavin is glaring at me with the free Oriental Pearl eyes from Poetic Colors; you can find them on the back wall under the Freebie sign. His taupe mesh sweater is the Thugs, Studs and Gentlemen Hunt gift from [American Bazaar] and his mesh jeans are the TSGH gift from ~Moonlight Pointe Creations~. All gifts in the TSGH are free (0L). We added the texture-changing Wide Scarf from ::[Mr.Poet]::, and a pair of brown dress shoes from ::GABRIEL::. Oh, and he’s wearing the men’s version of Chop Zuey’s Karma Earth Slv ring, which is a free gift for everyone (no group needed). I showed the ladies version here.

My jeans and Autumn Harlequin sweater are the 2nd Anniversary group gift from *Just Because* (free to join). My boots are not free, but I just couldn’t help myself. For 100L, you get these fabulous mesh boots in 5 different colors… all in celebration of the opening of The Dressing Room Fusion. And this is the last day for the current cycle of TDRF, so this might be the last day you can get them at the opening price. Don’t delay!

Gavin would much rather have stayed home and watched the game, but I think even he has to admit that he looks good!

Filthy Skin Closing Sale & Group Gifts

I am afraid I have to be the bearer of bad news… Alexandra Barcelos of Filthy Skins will be closing it’s doors soon and will no longer be selling skins as of December 5th. She plans to focus more on mesh designing. If you are a fan of Filthy Skins, make sure you head down to the store before then and check out the huge closing sale!

1. All newer skin packs are priced at 299L

2. Older skin packs are priced at 50L – (I am wearing Alexandra in the photo above, 50L)

3. The inworld group is closed to new members, but if you are a current member you can go in and pick up a box full of previous monthly group gifts – which is a fantastic gift if you have missed any or have joined recently!

Skulls and Bunnies & Roses, Oh My!

What’s a girl to do on a rainy Sunday morning? Stay in, relax and blogggggg - YAY! So.. I have a few more things to show you today!

I sure hope you saw my post back in August about Auxilliary‘s group fee being free for a limited time, because they now have a couple of really cute group gifts, but the fee to join is 750L! Filthy Uptown Girl

I am back again to show you yet another FREE HAIR (cheering and chaos noise in the background!) in the Alli & Ali Marketplace Shop! You will find the Wynona Hair in Rust Brown with streak options and resizer hud (is also mod!) for free until March 18th.

The Uptown Sweater in Olive I am wearing is not free, however it is currently being featured at XYROOM for 80L. If you happen to be a blogger, participating in the 52 Weeks Of Colour Challenge, you’ll want to check out this adorable sweater for next week’s “avacado”! I am a huge fan of this sweater and am so excited that Sira has started making it in more colours.

The Starlet Bracelet/Ring combo I have on is from Hollyweird and is just 10L as their Glamour Is Mine Hunt item. It is a fun accessory that will go with so many different styles.

Filthy Skins has released their group gift for March! SnUGGly Boots For A Winter Day

This is what it looked like when I got up this morning… just snow and fog… I miss summer already! Anyways with all of this snow, I felt like some warm boots today…

Make sure you give the midnight mania boards at SAKIDE a slap! If you lock them down, you will be gifted with the Ribbed Tee-Shirt Dress in Wine and the Ugg Snow Boots in Black. Ready To Paint The Town Red

Thanks to Agnes Finney’s New Years offers, I am ready to paint the town red! The red and black cocktail dress above is available to My Precious group members for just 10L!
