A Group Gift @ The Designers Showcase

If you are out and about today in Second Life doing a little shopping like me, make sure you stop in at The Designer’s Showcase and see what they have in store for this month’s round. I noticed while I was in there today that they have a free group gift, made by Liv Glam that includes the mesh top and pants shown in the photo. The bag I am holding is actually the bag the gift comes in but after you open it up, you can just wear it right along with your outfit!

Where Is The Concert Hunt 2 – Ends Tomorrow!

The Where Is The Concert 2 Hunt ends tomorrow on December 1st, so you’ll have to do some really fast hunting if you are interested in these items!! I’m not exactly sure where the month of November went, but I hope December is a bit slower for me! There are approx 35 stops in this particular hunt and you can find all of the slurls at the official blog with details on how to complete this hunt! I don’t have time to show you all of the prizes as it is ending tomorrow, but I’ll show you a few to give you a taste of the what types of prizes are given out in this great hunt. Shown above is the mesh Fusion outfit from Sassy! that includes the slacks and blouse. Below to the left I am wearing 1Hundred‘s Classic Tee (also mesh) and to the right Gizza‘s Hooded Sweater Mesh in Candy, both with Cynful Clothing‘s Zia Denim 2.0 Mesh pants. I have blogged this hair before a few times and you’ll probably see more of it because I <3 it lol, but again.. It is a WITCH2 prize that you can find at Alice Project. It is mesh and comes in a ton of streak choices as well as sizes.

The Ancient Hunt – On Now!

Your first stop will be Masoom which is offering The Ancient Hunt Dress. This is a gorgeous long mesh black dress with a super low scooped back and a jewelled belt. It also comes with a pose, but like the doofus I am, I didn’t notice it in the folder until after I had taken my photo! *face palm*

A Cabin Retreat – Falling Leaves Hunt

Need a little cabin getaway? I have put this rustic sneak away spot together for free with a few of the Falling Leaves Hunt prizes. You can click on the photo above to see the larger photo in my flickr photostream if you’d like to see the items a little closer up! The Autumn Cabin Retreat is made by By Nacht and includes the cabin, autumn tree and also some really nice animated furnishings for inside the cabin. Pestique is the maker of the Autumn Duet tree stumps on the porch. It seats two and has a few sit animations including the guitar as shown. Beside the leaf pile on the other side of the porch you will see a Glowing Pumpkin Candle which can be found at Bayview Market. No cabin would be complete without a water well (or a wishing well you might call it), and that is exactly what you will find at Incendia as their Falling Leaves Hunt Gift. The decorative Autumn Plant and Pumpkins sitting just in front of the well is the hunt gift from FD Decor.

I am slowly catching up on blog posts after being away over a week and so many wonderful group gifts were given out while I was away!! Mirror’s Enigma has a beautiful skin gift set out for their inworld group members. To join the group you need to make a purchase in the store, and then you will be invited to join the free group. Bern is the group gift for August. The pack includes a cleavage option and no cleavage option as well as a shape (not shown).

The jewelry set I am wearing is the Make A Wish hunt prize from Stars! that includes the necklace, bracelet and earrings in several colours. Romper Bomper Stomper Boo

I am in <3 with the Gloxx Store Striped Romper I found at The Color Blocking Fair for just 10L in the Color Blocking Bazaar! It is mesh and comes in several sizes. I was so excited to find such a great deal, I grabbed my AURA Rigged Mesh Boho Bag that is a free VIP gift (250L to join) and was on my way to the beach for a photoshoot!

Solelua Beach is one of my favourite beaches in Second Life. I find myself taking a ton of photos there, or just chillin in the sand. Last week they had a Reggae event, and I won a free surf board in a raffle! They are hosting another event today (Thursday June 7th) from 3-5 SLT and they are raffling off another surf board! Who knows… you might get lucky!

Hunting For Dragons @ Cilian’gel

It’s time to start hunting for Dragons at Cilian’gel, as they are participating in the Year Of The Dragon Hunt which runs from January 23rd – February 23rd. There are approximately 70 stores participating in this hunt. Carson showed us the men’s Year of the Dragon Hunt gift from Cilian’gel this week, and the dress in the photo above is the women’s Got Dragon? Cheongsam Set. It comes in a long and short version skirt. I apologize for cutting off the dress trim on the bottom of my photo! I assure you it is trimmed with gold at the bottom, and very pretty, it was SL that was not co-operating with me during the photo session.

The hair I am wearing today is MGS’s Sweet Bob Mainstore LB Limited in the shade of Ash Silver. I managed to win this in the lucky board after about 20 minutes of trying. The change over is 5 minutes and there are wild card rounds.

Deep Ocean Blue

I love it when free stuff comes in my favourite colour! This magnificent gown in a perfect shade of ocean blue is a free group gift at Ruxy! The group is free to join. Thank you Sira for giving me a head’s up on this one!

I couldn’t have been more pleased when the UVA Necklace and Earrings Set was sent to Miel Subscribers over night because it matches so perfectly with this dress! It actually has a colour change hud so you can change it to seven different colours as well as change the string colour, so it would match with about anything! Such beautiful blue gifts for us today

Oxygen is Overrated

Have I mentioned before how much I love “mermaiding” in Second Life? There are so many wonderful places under the sea! I came across a really great group gift for the Merfolk of Second Life and I thought I would share it with you! The Glossy White Mermaid Set can be picked up with a group tag activation at Club Mermaid. The group is free to join. There are other mermaid and merman freebies at Club Mermaid incuding a free mermaid AO, merman AP, fins and more, and also a lucky board – so make sure you have a swim around and take a peek!

The skin I am wearing in this post was also free. I picked it up in a lucky chair at Rockberry. It’s called Apple/3 Lucky Natural and didn’t take long for me to win at all.

A Stroll Down Secret Soho
