Hello World!

“Hello World” is the dorky title that WordPress gives every new blog as a sample post, but I thought it was appropriate for this post, for a variety of reasons.

So… hello Fabulouses! As I was leaving this lovely cafe – late as usual – I got a call from Renee Lowenhart inviting me to join the FabFree team. Of course I said yes, but after I hung up, I had to sit down and hyperventilate for a few minutes. I mean, I’m just a small-town girl who likes to “play dress up.” What do I know about fashion? How am I going to know what to write? How am I going to know what to wear???

[breathe in... breathe out... repeat... repeat...]

Ok, better now. I’ll admit that I’m still a bit stunned and nervous, but the folks here at FabFree have really gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home (thank you!). I apologize that some of the items I’m wearing in this post are no longer available for free (I went back and checked)… I originally did this picture about a week or so ago, and decided that I liked it and wanted to share it with you anyway. I promise that I’ll do better next time, and my next post will have more freebies!

My outfit, I’m happy to say, is available from Purple Moon as their With Love Hunt prize. I love, love, love the texture of the suede skirt and the way the shirt drapes so naturally. My jewelry is from two previous gifts offered by Chop Zuey, which I’m sorry to say are no longer available. However… there are a couple of pretty gifts there now, which Love previously blogged about here. Gifts are located in the center of the store, and you don’t need to join a group to get them.

Samhain’s Gacha, Has Me Putting Spiders On My Body!

I have an interesting relationship with spiders, I’m as scared of them as they are of me, so we normally don’t cross paths intentionally. However, the goodies at Samhain Gacha Event may have just changed this relationship for the better. The treats here blew my clothes off! Hence, me standing here in just my undergarments with spiders roaming my body. I let these creepy crawlers travel up my backside and down my frontside with this exquisite lingerie set and make-up called CB ~ Spiders- Outfit by Carrie Bridger of Carrie’s Lingerie.

There is great detail on the top and bottom, and this is a perfect outfit for ending your Halloween festivities with you significant other. But, if you are like me and SL has a double meaning to also include Single Life, you can just look delicious for yourself.

Now that we covered the lingerie and spiders, lets move on to the Spunki Dunk-Blue hair. I love the skulls at the front and back of the hair, it added a little funk to the outfit, and I will definitely rock this again. It doesn’t have to be Halloween to rocks skulls, plus blue is my favorite color.

Lastly, whats an outfit without accessories! The *Petite* Elf black tears are another treat I found at the Samhain Gacha Event, made by [[A.R.C.+F.N.]]. The lovely pearl necklace, earrings, and bracelet set is created by, AIDORU. And yes, I am still wearing those black booties, please don’t judge me, I know I need help.

All together the Samhain Gacha Event has a lot of great items, if I could have attached it all to my body I would have! I also wanted to make sure you all had a sneak peek early enough, so you could make your way over and pick up things for yourself. Everything is not Halloween themed, so you can get items that cross over to different seasons. Plus, how can you turn down some trick or treat fun for around $25L an item.
