Alyss Is Cynfully Beautiful!

Christmas Expo 2012

The Second Annual Christmas Expo in support of The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life has begun and runs until December 19th!  This is a fantastic time to do some Christmas shopping for your besties and SL family or pick up something sweet for yourself!  There are several beautifully decorated regions full of exclusive designs benefiting the American Cancer Society and each vendor is offering a free naughty or nice gift!  Don’t worry if you are naughty the first time around, you’ll get one or two more chances to redeem yourself and claim your nice prize!

 Not only is the shopping fantastic, but there are also events  such as the The Amazing Race, The Breedables Live Auction, Live DJs and and plenty of entertainment.  This wonderful charity event is very easy to move around with a handy teleport board!   You can even have your picture taken with Santa!

Below I am wearing three of the free gifts you can find at the Christmas Expo.  Sassy!’s gift is the Sakura Gown in green which can be worn several different ways.  I think I like it best as the corseted formal, but you can wear it how ever it suits you best!  The colour is a deep holiday green – perfect for this time of year.

At Amacci, they are giving away the Insight Snowy Eyes that even comes with a sparkle.  The earrings displayed are the Quatro Stud Earrings in Emerald and Ruby that you will find at Earthstones.

The Bliensen & MaiTai Corazon Necklace I have on today is not part of the Christmas Expo, but it is also free through the Peace On Earth Hunt 5!  Locate the hidden globe at their mainstore and you’ll have this adorable winged heart necklace.

Truth District

The new Truth District opens today July 1st at 9am and there are many amazing stores with grand opening gifts!  The new Truth District shopping sim will house some of the most talented content creators on the grid, including AddiCt, Curio, DCNY, Ducknipple, Earthstones, Erratic, Glitterati, GOS, Grixdale, INDI Designs, Je Suis, League, Leezu!, MiaMai, MichaMi, Miel, Mudhoney, Nardcotix, NSD, PXL, The Sea Hole, Trompe Loeil Prefabs, Truth Hair, and Whippet & Buck.  Many of these creators are offering special grand-opening gifts for members of the Truth District Update Group (which is free to join!!!).  The gifts will be available until July 5th.  Stay in the group for future updates on new releases, sales, news and member gifts.  Below are some of the gifts I picked up to show you.

A Taste of R.icielli Chocolate

R.icielli is having a chocolate covered Easter hunt.  There are twenty large chocolate eggs priced at L$15  each hidden throughout the sim.  The eggs contain clothing and poses.  There are signs everywhere that show what the eggs contain, so you can pick and choose which eggs to buy.  The Easter hunt at R.icielli began April 18th and continues until the end of the month.  Normally I do not post hunts that cost, but the L$15 R.icielli gifts are of exceptional quality.  Here are some of the eggs I picked up.

TIK TOK, Elika’s Back!

A week doesn’t go by without someone mentioning how much they miss ETD hair.  Well, dry up those tears cause Elikapeka has rebranded and is back making amazing hair!  The Say ponytail is a gift at [elikatira] and comes in a huge fatpack of colors!  While you’re there be sure to join the sub-o group so you don’t miss anything!  The tan Rita skin is a gift at TIK TOK for group members.  This skin has a light pink glossy lip and hot pink eyeliner on the upper lip.  The tiny pumpkin earrings are a gift at EarthStones just in time for Halloween.  While there slap the midnight mania board for more jewelry!

Paris Metro has the Kiss of the Spider Woman 2010 evening gown available for a limited time.  I’m not sure how long this gown will be available so grab it while you can.

To celebrate 3 years in SL Son!a, the beautiful silver and black floral trim ball gown is a gift for everyone!

The white and gold Halloween Princess dress is only L$10 at My Precious through the end of the month.

For a more casual look the orange Tania mini dress and Zip Tears face tattoo are L$1 each at DK Design.

Willow is in Rockberry

There is a beautiful new skin available for Rockberry group members.  The willow skin gift comes light, natural, and tan.  Each skin has a light and heaver cascade of freckles and includes dark and light brows.  The Dotty bra and panties are also included in the Rockberry group gift.  The Sadie hair isn’t free, but is a new release from Amacci.

Now I have to go figure out which skin tone to keep!  I think maybe the light one, what do you think?

Get this Encemble!

After seeing the Encemble notice that came through the Fabulously Free in SL group notices I went to check out the store and grab all the goodies.  The Tsunagi romper set is in the group lucky board at E.  Farah blogged the Bunny boots a few weeks ago.  These adorable boots are still available free at Eva Footwear.

I also picked up the purple eco dress, glittery purple Clces short set, from the Encemble group gift wall.

The brown plaid skirt and Nyao tank are in two other Encemble group gifts located on the second floor.  The red velvet Darty dress is great for a formal party.  This dress is another group gift at Encemble.

Pink Kafele Quality

Sometimes you just need a classy look to get you through the day.  I love the new gift of the week from G&N Quality Design.  The Kafele outfit includes black jeans, a hot pink tub top, and a classy bolero top.  The ensemble can be worn with or without the black blouse.  The hot pink Pochette purse is an in-store group gift from Coco Designs.  The Stone Donut Leather necklace is from yesterday’s midnight mania at EarthStones.  Pick either black or brown for the leather string!  The i heart u earrings are only L$10 at Chuculet and come with a necklace.  The Aimee skin is a group gift for JE*REPUBLIC members.  I showed the Cassie Cap hair earlier.  This hair is in the midnight mania at ChiChickie! and comes in chestnut and dark auburn AND the hat is color changeable!
