Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me! It’s Friday GuyDay again, and this time I’m bringing you The Guardian, the April group gift from PeKaS Design Gorean. Amour Fashion & Rispetto Design @ The Wash Cart Sale

The Cart Sale down at The Wash Sim is still going strong and there are some really great items to be found, all priced under 10L each.  Today, I am featuring the Amour Fashion & Rispetto Designs Cart where you will find both mens and women’s fashions.  In the photo above I am displaying my favourite item from the women’s fashions, which is the Talia Mesh Crop Top, available in three different colours at 10L each!  Such a sexy cut

I pulled Kai out of my inventory to show you  a couple of very handsome Love Trill approved items from this cart that are must haves in a male inventory!  The Logoro Jeans are mesh and  are a very nice design with stitching detail and creases in all the right places.  Kai is also wearing the Disegno Sweater that couldn’t match any better with these jeans.  Guys, this is a great outfit that is easy to put together and just 10L a piece!

While I was down at the Cart Sale I spoke with Second Life Resident of 5 years, Seaskye Ember who was taking her time and inspecting the cart contents closely looking for things she might like.  Seaskye has been to two previous Cart Sales, so this is her third visit and claims,  “I love  a sale  and  it is a chance to try new designers without spending a lot of lindens.”.

Love’s A Bossy Date.

Poor Love….  She still has no date for Valentine’s Day, and since I am a figment of her imagination and do whatever she says,  I guess I am stuck with her again.  Little did I know she was going to be all bossy about it.  She set out this ensemble for me to wear, which is Gizza‘s December group gift including the pants, vest and jacket. Rotten & Defiant Valentines

Hey everyone!  It’s me, Love…  All dressed like a dude again to show you some great deals and group gifts!  After my last post with Mr. Trill, I had several IMs and comments suggesting and agreeing that Kai should be Mr. Trills first name lol, so Kai it is!  I think it suits him actually – thank you to everyone that sent in their ideas!

Dura just placed out one heck of a group gift for the guys!  Group members can pick up the 2013 Valentine Group Gift Hair that comes with a hud that allows resize and colour change. It’s a slicked back short pony or bun almost…  hard to describe, but very cool!  The hairbase I am wearing is part of the Belleza 2012 Xmas Group Gift Skin (which Gavin has previously shown), however there are also free hairbases on the Dura desk for anyone that doesn’t have a hairbase that comes with their skin.

Warming Me Up

Goodness, the designers of SL were so generous with their group gifts this holiday season! Dura put out this adorable winter toque with hair in a few colours (We all know how hard it is to fit hats with hair!!) as a free group gift for their inworld members (free to join).  There is also a men’s version so make sure you drag your guy along too!

The skin I am in is called Santa Skin / Christmas 2012 and is a free group gift from Mojo (also free to join).   It features a warm dark skintone, luscious plump lips and the sweetest dimples you ever did see.

Please… Don’t Feed the Vampires!

It is said that the nosferatu hunt throughout the night and sleep during the day. So I don’t know what I was thinking when I decided to spend a night walking through an abandoned part of old London.  I wasn’t able to sleep, and after a couple hours of beating the feathers out of my pillow, I finally tossed on some clothes, cinched up my boots, grabbed a bag of my favorite chips – garlic flavored kettle chips (so I carry a toothbrush around with me… don’t hate),  and went for a stroll in the moonlight.  It was a very peaceful walk and I was enjoying the solitude.. up until I heard, “bleh bleh bleh… ”  I turned to find that I was suddenly not alone. I was staring at a dark stranger wearing a cape, with odd eyes and a creepy smile and a hat that hadn’t seen the light of day since the Seven Years War. He had a strange pallor to his skin and when he smiled I could swear I saw fangs gleaming off the light from a nearby lamp post.

Then I put two and two together, after realizing what he had said and I replied,

“Really? Bleh bleh bleh?  Real vampires don’t say that, but that is a cool outfit, dude. Want some chips?”

I extended my bag to him and he took one whiff, shrieked and turned into a bat, causing all of his clothes to fall to the ground in a crumpled heap as he skittered away. As I watched him vanish into the murky night, I muttered, “must not be his flavor” and then checked out what he left behind. Being a discerning wearer of clothes, I wasn’t going to put on just any ol’ vampire outfit. So I checked the labels and discovered that I had scored on a bunch of free stuff! I donned all of the clothing and when I put on the hat… my hair, eyes and skin changed! Kinda creepy…  Then I felt something strange about my teeth and realized I was going to need to upgrade my dental insurance. I’d also lost my appetite for chips.. of any flavor. What good is it to have great teeth if I can’t eat chips??  I guess you can’t win ‘em all..

Last week Precious Restless sent out a notice in the Boudoir Group (free to join) that there was a new member gift waiting for all their ghouls to grab…well this Wearable Giant Fly came along just in time…since my broom was in the shop for repairs.  Isn’t he fantastic?  I think I’ll call him Igor. ;p;p

Now, a girl can’t just get all dolled up with no place to go…so I headed straight for Journey to the Lost City which is the hauntingly spectacular build from Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith…owners of the sublime Calas Galadhon sims.  If you haven’t been to these park sims…they are an absolute MUST SEE.  I can’t begin to tell you how incredibly detailed they are landscaped…Truck and Ty spend endless hours landscaping and decorating them for every season.  There is so much to explore and enjoy…and now they have this wonderful Halloween adventure…search for the golden idol in the castle and you will be admitted to the Lost City…just beware of the perils on the way!  I took my trusty Staff of Hatred from Wylde Arts ~WA~ on the Marketplace (not free, but half price @ 150L)…to cast dark rain on any rogue corpses.

Kawaii Beach Babe

The Kawaii Fair 2012 is underway and everything is cute cute cute!  There are a ton of stores participating with featured designs and whole bunch of free gifts!  Nearly every shop I went in, had a free gift sitting on a shelf or on the floor… some even had the gift right outside the door so you could grab it before you go in.

Some of the gifts I picked up this evening are the Cherish Dress from 1 Hundred which is an adorable red tank dress with a prim skirt, the UrKiddo Sunkiss Nude Lips DK Eyed Skin from Modish, and the Amusing Daisy Sunglasses from Aris Aris.
