Discord Designs @ Hair Fair 2011

If your looking for some high quality braids look no further than Discord Designs. Discord Designs is known for it’s intricate tight braids. There are five new donation hairstyles plus two gifts from Discord Designs at Hair Fair 201.

Charlie is a ponytail with braided sides and long bangs. I read on the Discord Designs website that this hairstyle was intended to be male, but I think it looks pretty hot on women and has sorta a bad girl look!

Lola set of flexible braids pulled back in a ponytail with feminine bangs.

Lotta is a shorter braided ponytail without bangs. Just like all the styles this hair has flexi braids. I LOVE the incorporation with the V2 tattoo hair layer and I’ve decided that I look pretty damn good in braids!!!

Lilith is very similar to Lotta, but with longer, fuller braids. This hair includes two attachment points so the braids don’t cut through your shoulders.

Gaijin is a bit different and perfect for those who want to make a statement in braids. This style is inspired by Michelle Laine’s headdress from the Katy Perry ET video.

The Anansi and Briannon Braids are gifts at the Discord Designs booth. Both of these styles include ash blonde, discord red, milk chocolate, and raven black.

Wear Purple

Oct 20th has been declared “Wear Purple” day to raise awareness about the overwhelming bullying in our society and pass on the message that things will get better. Several designers throughout SL have purple gifts to show their support.

There are male and female purple shirts free to spread awareness at MIAMAI. All the purple hairs at the Discord Designs satelite stores are only L$1 for today. I picked out a couple to show you, but seriously all the hairs in purple are dollarbies! The #17 Isolde skin is a group gift in all skin tones for Exodi members.

October is also Breast Cancer awareness month. Breathtaking & Divine has a gift available for the men and women from October 15th through the 31st.

Feed-a-Smile

Have you been to the Feed-a-Smile Fashion Show yet? Profits from the items being sold at the event go to Feed-a Smile. Live and Learn in Kenya NGO has to feed 466 children and the Feed-a-Smile event we will try to feed these children during the duration of the school holidays ( 466 children x 27 days = 12,582 meals ). Throughout the area there are amazing creations by some of the top designers in SL. There are also a few gifts scattered around. I picked up the Feed-a-Smile unisex shirt and also the Angie pantset from the G&N Quality Designs gift pile.

For all the ladies looking or just hoping to get hitched, the complete bridal gown is also available from G&N Quality Designs.

The Serenity white dress is a gift from JAZMYN D at the Feed-a-Smile event.

The short Emma hair and Sawyer dreads were sent to the Discord Designs sub-o members this morning. The headband on the Sawyer hair is color changeable so you can match your wardrobe. The beautiful SoulHeart eyes and Cynthia Starfish and Coffee skin are in the Mynerva Fashion is Love hunt gift. I love freckles so this was a definite keeper!

Today I’m going through my inventory. I’m finding things I have been meaning to show you and things I need to sort into my closet! First off is Exclusiva with the May mini dress which is a special gift at the FabFree Headquarters. Farah blogged the black Classic Stilettos yesterday. These heels are a group gift in-store at N-core.

Exclusiva also has the green St. Patricks day mini hat for free which goes perfectly with the lime green Vanessa evening gown. The Vanessa gown is only L$50 for a limited time offer. There’s a sale going on at ai design studio on the Tuyen skin line. Each of the skins are L$10 each and there are many to choose from!

Quinert has the dark green Jamie dress for just a dollarbie available for a limited time. The adorable ponytail Boo hairstyle is a gift from Discord Designs at Savior Hair. The hair comes in hessian, malice, onyx, pepper, and platinum shades.
