Portland Poser

After spending so much time outdoors in the garden, enjoying springtime…I just had to get away to the city and enjoy the lights and nightlife. So I hopped on the Max and headed to the Portland Connection.

While in Portland, I wanted to show off my fancy new poses that were a part of Diesel Work’s April group gift.

Here I am in front of Dusty’s Cafe showing off gift pose number one from Diesel Works. Did you know Portland, Oregon is the City of Roses? It is really a beautiful city.

Even though I enjoyed the cityscape, I could not resist stopping by the Japanese Gardens.

Here I am using Diesel Work’s April gift pose number two in the zen sand garden.

I used the number three pose for hangin’ out on Broadway and checking the street signs.

Poses four and five I am showing you in the waterfront park. Four has the Hawthorne Bridge in the background (above) and five the cityscape (below).

Hello hello all you fabulously beautiful people… It was a warm lovely day today here in my real world, so after a long bout of sleep, I was able to crawl out of my bed go for a walk and then come home and find you all some goodies

Here are today’s finds….

BlogPost4_d I stopped by The Fantasy Market and found this Lucky Board…. It had a big ”C” on it when I saw it and immediately SMACKED it…. *laughs* Obviously, I took the picture after that…. (searches around… “Anyone with a J???”) I think it is sooooo cute… nod nod nod… I’m sure it will look even better on you
I also found a few gift boxes laying around on the floor in May’s Soul store and decided I was going to go find a great place to snap a picture of a couple of them for you all..

I headed over to Roawenwood, who always decorates their sim beautifully. (I like to swing by there and see what new stuff they have and if they are in any hunts, because their stuff is great.) I went ahead and snapped a couple of pictures for you

While I was standing here, trying to snap the picture, my FabFree group sent out a notice from N@N@ giving away this fancy upper arm bracelet. You can get it as well if you join the group, and check the notices for today (041713) it has a “: )“ as the title… which is completely appropriate since it brought a smile to my face the moment I put it on.

Petite Finds @ The Wash Cart Sale

This sweet, Elegant Rose Dress is by DemotiK, and is available for just 10L at The Wash Cart Sale. It also comes in red, if that’s more your flavor. My hair is the latest release from “”D!va”" for the March round of Collabor88. Two styles come in the box, and you can wear them with or without the color-changing ribbon and flowers. I’ve sized it way down to fit, of course, but one reason I love “”D!va”" hair so much is because I can size it to fit my petite avie. “More bang for your buck,” if you know what I mean (make a copy first)!

Swinging Is My Dirty Little Secret

At the end of a long day, I love to sit quietly, sip a glass of wine, and contemplate life. Tonight, I’m relaxing in the Winter Dreaming Tree, the January group gift from [dirty.little.secret]. The gift includes this ginormous tree, fluffy white grass, and swing with animations (the tree is actually a bit whiter than it appears here at sunset). The [dirty.little.secret] group is 150L to join, but they are so generous with group gifts.

This snuggly outfit is the Frozen Treats Hunt gift from Vips Corner (#5). Included are the leggings, UGGs boots, and fuzzy, pink sweater. There is also a men’s gift in the box (not pink, don’t worry). The Frozen Treats Hunt ends on January 15th, and all items are 1L each.

My necklace and earrings are by Ben’s Beauty, and are available for 55L this week at fi*Fridays. It includes a menu selection of 7 different stones. My cute ponytail hair is by >TRUTH<, and is a TRUTH District group gift (only available at this location). The gift includes a fatpack of colors, color-changing headband, and your choice of colors for streaks… or no streaks at all, if you prefer. This gift has been out for quite a while, and I was so happy to see that it’s still available!

I’ve been away for a bit consumed by RL, but sneaked in to show you the devilishly sexy gift at PurpleMoon. The Demonia Halloween costume is free for PurpleMoon group members. There is a L$50 enrollment fee to join PurpleMoon. The Livia “devil is a woman” skin is the newest group gift for Al Vulo members. It is free to join the Al Vulo group. I’m feeling Puckish while hunting the gifts on the A Midsummer Night’s Dream Hunt. Please note that gifts on this hunt are $1L each. Two of the gifts helped me get into the mood. The Got Puck? Outfit from Cilian’gel Boutique comes with a green tunic and brown cutoff pants. It also comes with a head and chest laurels, and horns.

Kneeling Before Anubis

I found two very nice Egyptian roleplaying costumes at Affinity Boutique. The Simply Egypt Kilt 1 is a white kilt that would work well for a servant or a slave.

The second outfit is more suited for someone of a higher birth. The Egyptian Male Leather Outfit comes with a decorative neck collar and bracers. The Sandals of Hermes is a $75L find at BareRose.
