You know what I woke up to this morning? About 10″ of … SNOW! The best way to deal with the long winter ahead, is to just embrace it – so I headed to an icy SL location to show this beautiful gift gown from Glitterati by Sapphire to remind myself how pretty the trees look after a fresh snow fall. *Looks out the RL window* “Nope… not the same.” *sighs*

Furnishings Friday #5 – Keepsakes & Blue Roses and Some Dark Mice

Furnishing’s Friday is here again and I know it’s only been 5 weeks so far lol, but I’m proud of myself to keep up with it because I’m usually all about the clothes!! This week I am showing you a couple of beautiful furniture pieces from { what next } on marketplace. They are not free, but only 10L each. The Beautiful Dreamer Chair / Shadow Box Set includes both the animated chair and the shadowbox on the wall. The chair is 8prims and the shadow box is 7 prims. The Keepsake Table & Candle I couldn’t pass up – it’s so pretty!! Together they are 14 prims. The adorable gift box on the floor is really only the box they came in, but sometimes those boxes are so cute themselves they work as decorative items too!

I also have some wearables to share with you!! The Roses are Blue Dress I am wearing made by Siss Boom and is in their new lucky chair! They have tons of prizes in their lucky chair and also still have their lucky boards. They recently moved, so make sure you TP to the link in this post.

My dishy freckled skin is Mirror’s Enigma Paris in Pale Skintone and is their latest group gift. It includes cleavage and freckle options as well as a pair of eyes and shape (eyes and shape not worn here). The only way to get into the group is to make a purchase and then you will be invited to join the free group. Roodvosje (who was wearing a lampshade on her head, LMAO) TPed me to Dark Mouse yesterday for a couple of L’s on the lucky board (Tnx Rood!), and I won the 30′s Art Deco Set shown here that includes the necklace, bracelets and earrings. There are 6 lucky boards. My lovely locks today are also from Dark Mouse – Alex is free in all colour sets. A bit of sad news about Dark Mouse…. is that they are closing their inworld doors on July 16th. They are currently having a huge instore sale though – so make sure you head over and see if there is anything you’d like before it’s gone for good. The Witch Hunt 2011 – Part 1 of 2

The Witch Hunt 2011 has started and runs until September 30th. There are 47 stores participating in the hunt and some of the stores have multiple items to search for. Each item in the hunt is 10L and worth every linden! I had such a good time doing this hunt – It’s always more fun when you hunt with a great hunting partner like Em! The item you will be looking for is a witches hat. I will be splitting these up into two posts as I collected ALL of them. Below are The Witch Hunt 2011 Hunt Items I found!

Rockin the Bukka

Bukka has new lucky chair gifts!!! I won the khaki Cut & Sewn Rock shirt and the denim wash skirt in the Bukka lucky chairs. Celebrate in PurpleMoon

PurpleMoon Creations group member were given the stunning black Nine gown yesterday. This gown is absolutely gorgeous! There is a L$50 one time enrollment fee to join the PurpleMoon Creations group but it is well worth the fee! I wanted some subtle jewelry to make this look even more spectacular so I put on the Flights of Fancy earrings and necklace from the Dark Mouse lucky chair. This jewelry comes in copper, gold, and silver. The Special Asian skin comes in medium and sunkissed tones and with two makeups. Are you a June bride? Even if you’re not planning for an upcoming wedding the June Bride wedding dress is a beautiful addition to any girl’s closet. The white summer gown is in the lucky board at RibboN. The lucky letters change every 5 minutes on this board so it shouldn’t take long to win this dress. The dress includes the beautiful hair accessory. The Viola updo is from Amacci. This hair isn’t free but there is a similar style free in the Amacci hair section.
