“Oh look at the cute panda!” Oh yea, it is cute until she sneaks into your inventory and renames all of your stuff! Now, I couldn’t just come on here and tell you about all these goodies without showing you a couple more of their items. I’m not that evil, I just dressed up as an Evil Panda momentarily. And I assure you, not a single inventory was harmed in the process of making this post.

The first costume, perhaps one I had way too much fun taking picture of, is Vero Modero Cat Woman. This costume is pure sexiness, poured out of a big bottle of sexy. The best thing about it is, regardless of your shape, it will fit you perfectly because the entire costume is one makeup layer!

I went ahead and accessorized the costume with some jewelry to characterize Cat Woman’s obsession of expensive jewels.

Currently Love has a great post for a nurse costume titled Hold Still Mr. Beckett…, but if you want a gruesome look, Vero Modero has you covered with their Kanli Nurse costume. The blood splatter and bloody hand print are all apart of the look, and if I ever walked into a hospital with a nurse looking like this, I’d slowly ease my way out and fix myself.

Lastly, if you just enjoy freaking people out. Trying popping in on someone with one of these face masks on, which are makeup layers. The mask are so creepy, my mom demanded that I immediately remove it because it was going to give her nightmares. Being the good daughter that I am, I left it on for 10 more minutes.

The Case of Praying Mary – Part 2

“The music box calmed my bloody rampages…until that night…”

It’s Praying Mary, her ghost haunts me ever since I learned about her while on the latest hunt from Madpea. I started at Hoshi Island and bought the HUD for a small fee of 10L and began my investigation. I followed in her footsteps and found where she murdered countless men and always left her signature weapon behind, a cross. I was terrified, but in the end I had found them all and discovered her dark secret leading to great rewards! Remember you must be brave and survive to the end if you want to earn any of these prizes. The hunt runs until November 4th.

Above you will see Alma’s Music Box from ALH Shop. It is intricately crafted and as the music plays the turntable and handle rotate. You can choose from 5 different haunting melodies and also adjust the volume.

She’s a Love Zombie {dollle*} with a Paper Heart…

I absolutely LOVE Halloween..and I look forward to when October rolls around so I can start putting costumes together and decorating my place.  One of the best things about Halloween in SL is that I don’t have to wait until the 31st to start wearing my costumes and the decorating isn’t limited to my small First Life apartment.

{dollle*} just sent this fantastic Bloody Bandage Dress to their subscribo members. *It is a mesh item so you will need a mesh enabled viewer to see it properly.  I paired the outfit with this fabulous Bride of Frankenstein Hair from Paper Heart; available on the Marketplace for 1L and the Blood Blaster Heart from A Folf in Sheep’s Clothing; also available on the Marketplace for 1L.

I finished off the costume with a deep crimson colored lip tattoo, that I scored for 1L from cStar Limited, at The Boho Culture Fair, Bloody Tears III Face tattoo (5L) from REPULSE , and Dead bloody eyes from Sicknessthesia…(FREE) on the Marketplace.  The Liane Goth skin in silver, from Amacci, was featured by Renee here.

I went all out decorating my sim for Halloween and I saved buckets of Linden by taking advantage of the wonderful hunts taking place around the grid and by scouring the Marketplace for freebies.  The Zombie Mausoleum is a prize for the SL’s Top Haunted Places Tour & Hunt from Post Mortum Designs, the crows are actually Walking Skeleton ACTION auto-rezzers from Another Fine UGH Design  for 10L on the Marketplace and the tombstones are free…as part of a Halloween Decor set from Diavolo Creations. The black pumpkins are a  group gift, 50L to join, from ::PM:: Purple Moon Creations.

Hunting for freebies on the Marketplace can be quick and easy when you use a few tricks to filter what you are searching for.  I always search the Marketplace with a key word for the item I am interested in and then use the “Category” and “Price” filters in the side column.  The category column can be filtered down to a fairly specific group and I usually search for items priced between 0-10L.  There are other ways to search for freebies on the Marketplace, but I find this to be the quickest route.  Just remember to only take freebies that are from the creator of the item and that you write a kind review if you like the item.  Creators really appreciate the positive feedback and it is a great way to thank them for offering something free to everyone in SL.

House of Nyla has a cute freebie out, this one is Christmas themed (spank me Santa). Nyla doesn’t put out gifts often, and her designs are always drop dead gorgeous. Her Naughty Santa outfit brings to mind the song “Santa Baby”, by Madonna.
