A Crash Course in Free Gifts!

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon at the Intense Track on the Rain Cloud Sim trying to learn how to drive in SL…  Somehow it is harder in SL, than it is in RL.  As you can see it didn’t end well…  I crashed my car, broke the track (Sorry Swatchz!), and ran over a noob :O … but it was super cool with all the dust flying around.  The sim itself is really, quite something to see, whether you are into racing, photography or are just looking for a new place to chill and meet new people.

Finding Sun In The Acid Lily Garden

I needed a little break from the cold and snow and ice and “general winter yuck”, so I headed over to the beautiful little garden over at the new Acid Lily location for some sunshine.  Of course while I was there, I put together an outfit.. because that’s what I do! lol…

Cute Winter Things I Like

Hi again!  I have  a hodgepodge of cute holiday treats to share with you tonight  They are from all over the grid, so I hope my post isn’t too confusing about where to find this stuff!  The sweet and innocent looking mesh Flurry Dress can be found at Loovus Dzevavor hidden in the Peace On Earth Hunt 5 icon which is a globe.

My Christmas Kitty Hat is made by CandyMetal and is the latest free group gift at Acid Lily.  It also comes with a Christmas Lady shoulder cape, but it was interfering with the mesh dress I am showing today.  Perhaps I’ll find something to wear it with soon to show you.  It would be perfect to wear with a non-mesh top.  Go check it out – so cute!  The group is free to join, and there are still a ton of other gifts available sitting around the fashion gallery rooms.

Do You Remember Cassettes?

This Cassette Necklace from Pepper that is currently set out as a 5L Dollarbie had me cracking up, remembering when my son found an old cassette of mine and had no idea what it was! I explained to him about how the tape always came loose  and we had to wind it back up – sometimes tape it back together, and how we had to actually wait to rewind it – ha ha ha…  The good ole days!

Summer Dots

Candymetal has placed out their new group gift for May!  The adorable and  very generous gift includes the floral mesh blouse, denim shorts, matching boots and also the skin I am wearing in the above photo.  The group is 25L to join and they have fantastic monthly gifts.

Candy Metal Strawberry Hunt

Spring Has Sprung

Spring has sprung, the grass is riz, see how cute these gifts iz!

After a long RL weekend with family, I have some catching up to do here – so many wonderful freebies to write about, so little time!

I am so enjoying the sunshine of Second Life today (-5c in RL, yuck!), wearing my new spring dress and matching shoes that I picked up from CandyMetal for just 1L.  Both items are mesh and have an adorable all over spring floral print.  While you are at CandyMetal picking up this fabulous combo, make sure you also grab the dollarbie Spring Gift Skin.  It features a pale skin tone with soft pinky colour notes.
