Off to the Goth Fair 2013!

This fair’s proceeds are to benefit the SOPHIE LANCASTER FOUNDATION.  (this foundation was set up to Stamp Out Prejudice, Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere, to find out more about it you can check out the official webpage for this foundation @ http://www.sophielancasterfoundation.com )

I picked up a few of the freebies and lowbies around the Fair and figured I would post them to show you all….. enjoy <3

Snowflake Fairy

Soul Searching at the Madpea The Enchanted Frost Hunt

I am not sure how I first came to know of her plight…  I think it started as just a whisper on the wintry winds..  ”help.. please find me.. I am so lost”… like the “tinkle” you hear when ice crystals shift around in a cold breeze. I felt compelled to search for her.. to rescue her from her predicament. I did not even know her, but as the days became increasingly shorter and the nights grew colder I knew she didn’t have much time before she would be completely lost to me.  There would be subtle clues to help me along the way. Fading memories she managed to leave behind in tiny orbs of energy. The experience was surrealistic and I wasn’t sure if she was real or if this was a complex ruse by one of my enemies to entrap me. But I was helpless to stop myself. So I continued on…

Energy orb – This is the hunt item you are looking for. Look closely… they are sometimes hard to spot!

Somehow she managed to leave behind an old ice wizard’s hat. It gave me a clue for where to continue my search and kept me warm on my sojourn. My journey led me across frozen landscapes and frigid towers, and when I finally did manage to gather all her memories she left behind for me, it led me to a maze populated with evil denizens and cunning traps designed to prevent me from reaching my goal.  But still, I could not stop.. I knew she had little time before she would be completely lost to our world, and it would create a void.. like a song lost from all the souls she had touched. Her warmth was necessary for our world to exist as it did now… I had to find her!

The maze led me to an icy prison cleverly disguised as a giant ice-encrusted tree. The winds grew stronger the higher I climbed and I was beset by the harsh elemental forces conjured by my nemesis, but I reached the top of the spire and found her being held prisoner.. even though her conscious mind did not know it.  I broke the spell and returned her to her rightful place and immediately felt the warmth slowly returning to the world…

This month’s Madpea Hunt.. The Enchanted Frost Hunt is still ongoing until December 22, so get started if you haven’t already! It’s a fantastic journey, a fun hunt and there are some nice prizes, a few of which Love and I are showing here.

Her Etchaflesh Corset is Boudoir Fly…

There are still several more days till Halloween…that means many more opportunities to get your haunt on!  Earlier I told you about the [Etchaflesh/Virtual Props] Trick and Treats Hunt; where you can score fabulous mesh corsets and/or pose/prop sets…AND you can go back everyday to do the hunt over to score another prize…WIN! Last week Precious Restless sent out a notice in the Boudoir Group (free to join) that there was a new member gift waiting for all their ghouls to grab…well this Wearable Giant Fly came along just in time…since my broom was in the shop for repairs.  Isn’t he fantastic?  I think I’ll call him Igor. ;p;p

Now, a girl can’t just get all dolled up with no place to go…so I headed straight for Journey to the Lost City which is the hauntingly spectacular build from Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith…owners of the sublime Calas Galadhon sims.  If you haven’t been to these park sims…they are an absolute MUST SEE.  I can’t begin to tell you how incredibly detailed they are landscaped…Truck and Ty spend endless hours landscaping and decorating them for every season.  There is so much to explore and enjoy…and now they have this wonderful Halloween adventure…search for the golden idol in the castle and you will be admitted to the Lost City…just beware of the perils on the way!  I took my trusty Staff of Hatred from Wylde Arts ~WA~ on the Marketplace (not free, but half price @ 150L)…to cast dark rain on any rogue corpses.

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor

For some reason I really really had to have pink hair today. I think it works quite well. Nothing like a splash of hot pink to brighten up your day.

If you don’t like showing your pixel bits off then there is an opaque version too inside the box. I am also wearing another bracer from the Cobrahive sale called Kusari for 60L.. its hard to make out but there is lacing, chains and decorative crosses over it which just makes it stunning.

BlackLace are celebrating St Patricks with a release of special green colour lingerie and this set as a freebie.
