Happy weekend lovelies! I wanted to go on a little weekend venture and found myself at this highly detailed and peaceful Japanese place called “Tatsumi no machi (Shinagawa)” on the Kawaii sim. I got a haircut too! See?

Kay Yellow

Golly Galoshes!

“Golly Galoshes!” is the expression of surprise my friend Molly always used. I was reminded of it when I found these gorgeous galoshes from the Flower Pedals Hunt @ DUH!

One Stop Shopping with B!asta and Two Sisters Treasures

Hey there! It’s Leila again and I have lots to show you in this post! Freebies, Group Gifts, Midnight Mania and a Sixty Linden Weekend Deal, all in this post, so please read on!  Here’s a pic of this beautiful and very inexpensive skin I’m wearing in this post, I’ll talk about it later on. It comes also with a shape (not used) and Lola’s Tango appliers.

What’s more, all of these outfits also come with appliers and I’m wearing my mesh breasts in this post!

I do not touch up my pictures other than to crop and put them together for easier viewing, so this is exactly how the skin and items look on me to me. I use a simple clear white windlight setting for my pictures as well. (analutetia-avataroptwhiter) I only mention this because I know there’s a lot of questions about how things look in pictures versus how they look in world so, this is just to say what you see from me is what you would get in world with these same settings.

So on to the goodies!

 

This outfit is FREE. Absolutely FREE. It’s on the main desk at B!asta.

It is the Generation X outfit and comes with the socks, skirt, corset and shrug, and also includes the breast applier. It does not come with underpants though so if you’re modest like I am, I suggest wearing a pair of your own undies. I had a tintable pair and tinted mine to match the solid color in the skirt. Voila!

With this outfit I am wearing a FREE jewelry set from Two Sisters Treasures. This is a April group gift except for the bracelets which is a midnight mania prize. Join the group and then click the boxes under the midnight mania boards to snag this jewelry set and another one I’m about to show you as well. You must be a group member to click the midnight mania boards and the goals are only around 60 people so you should have no trouble snagging those bracelets.  There’s also two other gifts up there but I’ll let you find out about those yourself.

These boots are a former group gift from Mary Jane Shoes. They are the sleek ankle boots in chocolate. As I said they are a former group gift but Mary Jane Shoes gives a pair of shoes or boots away every month as a group gift and I’m about to show you the gift for this month in just a moment. There’s also a pair of biker boots at the shop for men. Group is free to join!

The skin I am wearing is one of the new items at the brand new round of Structure Your Skin Project. This skin is by AnnaA Body Shop. It comes with the skin, eyebrow shaper, a hide lashes alpha layer,  a shape (NOT SHOWN) and the tango appliers. It also has two versions of the skin and applier, with or without nipples. You get the whole shebang for 99L which is an amazing price and I think it’s an adorable skin. Try the provided demo of course!

Finally, the hair I am wearing is a former Hair Fair group gift that is still available at Damselfly for FREE The pack is a full fatpack so you’re sure to find a shade that works for you. There is also a gift available there for men!

The nails I am wearing are NOT FREE, I just picked something out of my inventory. These are the Precious nails in white from Candy Nail.

Next up is the current Group Gift @ B!asta! This beautiful gown is FREE for group members. It does cost 50L to join the group but B!asta gives at least one gift every month as well as participating in lots of events so it’s worth it to join and get all the great goodies! This dress comes with the top, glitch, skirt and Lola’s tango applier. I tried to get a couple pictures where you could really see the movement of the skirt, so pretty.

The jewelry I’m wearing with the dress is also a Free group gift from Two Sister’s Treasures. This is the March Black Diamond and Gold set. You can snag all the pieces with your group tag except for the earrings which you’ll need to slap the mm board to grab. If you scroll back up to my first pic you can get a close up of how pretty this set really is. Again the group is free to join.

The shoes are the aforementioned Free Group Gift heels from Mary Jane Shoes  They are the Vogue shoes in Jet and come with the a hud for metals and skin color adjustments. Group is free to join.

This is the Autumn in Bali set in purple, includes the usual layers, skirt and Lola’s tango applier. It fits and moves beautifully and is a great little outfit to wear hanging out at the beach or to go casual dancing in! Hopefully my pictures show the moevement somewhat.

For fun I also picked up this Jewelry set from Two Sisters Treasures. I am such a fan of SL Jewelry where we can have sparkle (But not BLING) all the time! This Star Silver Beaded Earrings, Necklace and Bangles. Each part is only 10L each so everything for 30L! All of Two Sisters Treasures Jewelry has resizers and I used them to make the necklace a lot shorter so it would go with this dress.

Checking Out Eskimo Fashion Shack

Moonwalks on to post… Hey everybody! So, here I was minding my own business when I seen that Eskimo Fashion had put two new items in the V.I.E  SHACK! Mind you, I had already spent like 40 minutes or so getting dress, don’t judge me (laughs), and knew I had to make my way on over to see these new goodies! So I told my mom about the new freebies, and she said, LETS GO… or maybe that was me that yelled it out. Any who, I rummaged through my inventory for the landmark, and in the mist of my TP, I crashed. I shook my fist at the SL universe  and eagerly logged back in so I could go snag some outfits. Of course my mother, who loves me so dearly, didn’t even realized I died…(shakes my head)… so busy trying to get new clothes. Once I was fully rezzed, I popped on my Group Tag and made my way into the Shack. I definitely loved the new items up close, and couldn’t wait to put them on, so as you will see below, I immediately changed into the clothes and took some pictures to share!

The Glimmering Triangle dress will make you the center of attention at any holiday party! First, the colors just pop off of the dress and we all know I love colors. Then we have this extremely deep plunging neckline. Ladies if you  just wanted to turn heads, you would easily cause whiplash with way people would stare at you in this mesh dress.

The second item is the Leather Mode Bodysuit, and one I had put this on, I didn’t take it off. In fact, if you see me roaming around SL today, you will see me in it. I know I have been a little mesh crazy lately, so its nice to remove the alpha girdle and wear something that fits without having to make any adjustments.

Caught Up At The WASH

OH-MY-LANTA! You know that awkward moment when you say to yourself, I’m only going to go and buy one outfit, then you get to the event and run around like a wild banshee buying up everything… Yup that was me. Love told me to go check out the  Black Event at The Wash and that there was great stuff, and she was not lying. I found the utmost fan-tab-u-lous  stuff their for $10L. Now, I know Love and Cal both have done some wonderful coverage, but I had to come and chime in too, because I swear my eyes popped out of my head. I seriously looked around like, whose playing a joke on me, this can’t be real. You mean, all these designers put out all this great stuff for $10L. Can we please just stop for a minute and give them a round of applause!

Ok, just in time for the holiday season, look at this Xmas Elf by Schwarz outfit. If this isn’t the cutest thing, and a nice remix to the traditional red and green look, then I don’t know what is. I am seriously here styling and profiling with this outfit on, how could I not?! Now the .:Evilkyoot:. Black Slouchy Boots was also found at the Black Event, and I found them before I found the Elf outfit. I looked at them and said, yes, this is going to be something I can pop around in, especially when I just feel like being comfy.

Once I wiggled out of the Elf outfit, I went ahead and slid into this B&T Mesh Top Dress Grey Snake skin spagetti strap mesh dress and loved the way it fit my body. Every once in a while, I have to pop on an extra girdle to fit some dresses, and I did not have to do that here. This is one of those dresses, that you can slip on and know you are going to  look good without giving it an extra thought.

*Takes a deep breath* Do you believe in love at first sight? Well I wasn’t sure I did until I seen this B&T Mesh Overall Deep Black Silk. I heard a symphony playing softly, everything slowed down, and everything but this outfit disappeared around me. I am in love. First and foremost, look at the detail. I took another picture featured below, so you can see it clearly. This one piece just gives me life! The picture of it was great, but when I put it on, oh how I swooned. Taking this outfit off was like removing a part of my body, I really can’t wait to wear it out. Oh, and if you were thinking that the La Fleur Black heels by Michigans Shack is also at this event, then you thought right! I can definitely see myself wearing them again through out this holiday season.

I definitely would like to give another round of applause to the designers, you all did a wonderful just. For the price of $10L, you can’t beat that with a baseball bat.

Hallow’s Eve Haul

Before I begin this post, I just want to send some well wishes to all those affected by Hurricane Sandy, please stay safe!!

Pssssst…. Guess what? (Looks around suspiciously) Now unless you have been living under extreme lag, and haven’t been anywhere outside of your home, you should know that tomorrow is the day we have all been preparing for…HALLOWEEN!!!! Raise your hand if your excited! Well before tomorrow becomes today, I have to share some of these cute Halloween inspired items that I found during my treck across the grid. Please get your frequent teleport miles ready, its time to go on a journey.

Now here is Mission #1, you must venture on through the free Halloween Hunt sponsored by GSpot and find this halter and orange slim jeans at [SAKIDE] mainstore. These two items are separated in two black cats in the store, so take your time looking. I really love the jeans and I will definitely wear them again, because if your pair them up with the right colors, you can wear them through different seasons.

We can all thank DCNY for for these cute orange arm warmers and Chickickie for the festive Leslie hair-do. Memo to all, the hair style comes with a hud, so you can change the colors the hair color and highlights!

Mission #2, You must get you hands on this DMZ  Pumpkinastic Mini dress, because its perfect for Halloween and it rhymes with fantastic.

Plus you can match the dress with these pumpkin boots from Chrysalis, it has a happy pumpkin face at the toe of the boot and cob webs around the ankle. The height on the ankle boot makes it work on for both dresses and skinny jeans.

The last item for Mission #2, are these Tuxedo nails from Bambo. I almost hit the floor when I seen that it came with a nail hud, so here I am showing you the 4 different design options that comes with the nails. The designer did a great job at providing realistic nails and the option to fit on size 10 and 20 hands.

Mission #3, we all know how much I love full outfits, so I have a [Dirty.Little.Secret] for you. The Dio de los Muertos Sugar Skull 2 outfit comes with everything you see here and can be worn on November 1 for the Day of the Dead. This outfit has a very fashion forward look, I mean, LOOK AT THE HAT. The dress itself is something I would wear just by itself any other day when I’m ready to get fancy. Plus this outfit is almost free at $10L, but look at all you are getting with it, and it gives you a reason to dress up the day after Halloween.

I really like the Marylin Trouille outfit! I wore it yesterday, and my mother asked me what I was up to, I said nothing so she tp’d me to her location. She basically sad, “You sure you doing nothing, that is a man getting outfit you have on!” When I wore it, it was without the tights, witch hat, and with regular black pumps, but the complete outfit looks just as sexy. This look comes with the witch hat, high-low hem halter dress, tights, and pumps.

Candy Hunter

Now if this isn’t the perfect outfit for trick-or-treating, then I don’t know what is. Okay I hear you, we all want to wear costumes, but you know if you are supposed to be taking the kids trick-or-treating or perhaps your younger siblings then you want to look like the responsible mature adult when you go up to the door and hold out your own bag for extra candy. You can just say you are the official candy inspector, I would believe you if you told me that. You can’t go wrong with a trench coat, black boots, and a bag shaped like a pumpkin.

Oh, and just a little added note. The foot on the pumps are pre-colored to match the stockings and not modifiable. So, if you wanted to wear the outfits without the leggings you can pop on one of your trusty go-to pumps.

Catwa Group Gift

Catwa has a group gift available. But you have to hurry, its only available till July 7th. It’s the Hadeya style, kind of an updo/ponytail style. I love Catwa hair, it moves like real hair does. One picture of this style wasnt going to do it for me, I needed to show both sides and here they are.
