I Love Noel in the Springtime

It’s no secret that I love fantasy clothing. I don’t role-play; I just like to dress dress the part. Anyway, this lovely satin, brocade gown is -Lara- Turquoise, the February group gift from *Aggressione*. The group is free to join, and when you do, you’ll get another little giftie just for joining! A Crash Course in Free Gifts!

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon at the Intense Track on the Rain Cloud Sim trying to learn how to drive in SL…  Somehow it is harder in SL, than it is in RL.  As you can see it didn’t end well…  I crashed my car, broke the track (Sorry Swatchz!), and ran over a noob :O … but it was super cool with all the dust flying around.  The sim itself is really, quite something to see, whether you are into racing, photography or are just looking for a new place to chill and meet new people.

Love’s A Bossy Date.

Poor Love….  She still has no date for Valentine’s Day, and since I am a figment of her imagination and do whatever she says,  I guess I am stuck with her again.  Little did I know she was going to be all bossy about it.  She set out this ensemble for me to wear, which is Gizza‘s December group gift including the pants, vest and jacket. An Epic Game Day

It’s Game Day here in the U.S., and to celebrate, {EPICOSITY} sent out these cool team hats to group members. Don’t worry, there’s also a hat for you Ravens fans. The {EPICOSITY} group is free to join; check your notices for this hat and another that was sent a few days ago. I really don’t have a preference for the game today, since my team didn’t even make it to the playoffs. I went with the 49ers hat since they are geographically closest to me.

Rotten & Defiant Valentines

Hey everyone!  It’s me, Love…  All dressed like a dude again to show you some great deals and group gifts!  After my last post with Mr. Trill, I had several IMs and comments suggesting and agreeing that Kai should be Mr. Trills first name lol, so Kai it is!  I think it suits him actually – thank you to everyone that sent in their ideas!

Dura just placed out one heck of a group gift for the guys!  Group members can pick up the 2013 Valentine Group Gift Hair that comes with a hud that allows resize and colour change. It’s a slicked back short pony or bun almost…  hard to describe, but very cool!  The hairbase I am wearing is part of the Belleza 2012 Xmas Group Gift Skin (which Gavin has previously shown), however there are also free hairbases on the Dura desk for anyone that doesn’t have a hairbase that comes with their skin.

Afternoon Ice Skating

My little corner of Second Life is starting to warm up (a little), but it’s still cold enough for an afternoon of ice skating. I’m such a klutz and tend to spend more time on my fanny than I do upright. But Gavin played hockey in high school and still gets around pretty well on his old skates. Duncan, my Great Dane, is such a protector… he’s not sure yet how he feels about Gavin, but would rather not get his paws all cold and wet, so he keeps watch from the sidelines. Good thing… I’d probably fall on him anyway!

Today I’m wearing a super-cozy, mesh sweater dress, the Cold Winter Nights Hunt prize from !gO! (there is also a male version in the box). All prizes in this hunt are 10L, and will be available until February 15th. Gavin’s sweater is the Winter Wonderland Hunt gift from Rispetto Designs. Completing the look, Gavin added a pair of mesh jeans, also from Rispetto Designs, which you can still find under the Christmas tree for a few more days (hurry!).
