Beach Party Weekend – Bats, Fairies, and B & T! Oh my!

Hey again, Fab Freebers! This is my second look at the Beach Party Sale on The Wash sim and this time I made a stop at a couple of places and picked up some stuff. B &T and Battle Fairy are both offering some great stuff for hangin’ at the beach for both guys and ladies. The beach I was heading to was full of giant turtles which scare me so I dragged Goldie along to show off a dress and necklace from The Little Bat. The floral pattern shorts I’m showing come in grey, pink/grey, and blue. The tee shirts and visors come in five matching colors. So head down to the beach party – only 10 days left to get some great deals!

The cute dress that Goldie is wearing is the Berrie Anchor Dress that you can pick up at the The Little Bat cart at the beach sale.

Love’s Layers of Black & Blue

Today I had a great time putting together this fun layered black and blue outfit and most of the pieces are under 10L, so I thought I’d share it with the FabFree readers too!

The even.flow mesh Enviro Vest that is featured at Acid Lily this week for 70L is what inspired the whole thing, lol and I know – it’s not free, but we do need to do our share of supporting these wonderful gift givers as well! The Jacqueline Outfit that I picked up for 10L at The Wash’s Black Event had a pair of jeans and a black sweater in it that was perfect for layering under my new vest. The Jacqueline Outfit includes several pieces for mix and matching at a super deal of 10L. Under the sweater which has a super low scoop neck, I put on a free Intrinsic Tank Top from Jane in black. Next I needed some boots, and The Black Event hooked me up there too! I put on my Battle Fairy Grungies Boots (10L @ The Wash), and finished the outfit off with an Essentials Blue Scarf made by even.flow that you can find at Acid Lily this week for 1L. There you have it – Love’s layers of black & blue!

Find your very own hammer and (the rest of the costume) on the Steam 6 Hunt at 22769 Casual Couture. The Thunder Costume is a tribute to everyone’s favorite Thunder God. The costume includes the leather tunic, pants, belt and the hammer. I found the Strapped Boots the other day on the Battle Fairy cart at The Wash Cart Sale and hoped I would find a good use for them. I had to find the perfect hair for this costume and I found what I was looking for at Calico Ingmann Creations. I purchased the Garik Dark Blonde Hair Pack for $200L. It comes with a color change hud that will let you choose from ten shades.

Living Dead Girl

The thing I love most about Halloween, aside from the large amount of candy consumption is that it gives us all a chance to dress out of the ordinary and get a litte creepy – or a lot, or not depending on your whim. I threw a few things together and became a Living Dead Girl (/me would sing the Rob Zombie song for you here if I could).

The side pony hairstyle is from Simply Britnee called Aaliyah and the fatpack is currently available for free in store. My dress is the latest Hal Hina group gift, my argyle socks a freebie from S@bbia and my little boots were 5L from Battle Fairy. A Wicked Beauty Light Show

You can find this meowtastic dress at Sassy as a free hunt gift for the Just for Fun Hunt that runs until September 30th! The diamond studded ankle boots are from the Battle Fairy Cart at The Wash Sale and are just 10L. You can also purchase these boots in blue, brown, green, purple and red for 10L each.

The fun print on the Sassy dress got me motivated to play with my Wicked Beauty Light Show Effects! You can pick each of these up at the Wicked Beauty Light Show Cart at the Wash Sale for 10L each. The owner and designer of Wicked Beauty Light Show has made videos of some of them, make sure you have a peek at the video so you can see these wicked beauties in action. As hard as I tried… my photos don’t do these justice!

First.. The Bat Dancer! ”GAH! We have bats!” or people will be thinking you do anyways, as the bats fly around you. You can see a working video of this effect by clicking this link.

Next out of the box of goodies was The Twinkle Star Party Lights which come in five different coloured light sticks that move and sparkle as you dance. You can see a video of all five by clicking on this link.

Wicked Whispy makes for quite a light show – whisps and waves of multi colours float around you.

The Follow The Star Spotlight is just what every diva in SL needs – whether you are a guy or a girl you’ll be in a permanent spot light, as this light follows you where ever you go on stage so your talents will surely not be missed whatever they may be lol.

The Tentacle Lights V2 CC Menu is really cool. Below is a photo of them in front of me, and you can see a video of them at this link. They are colour change and flexy! Of course I made mine pink

This next one is really cool and would make a fabulous addition to your landscaping. Firefly is a set of rocks that you click, and when you do… realistic looking fireflies fly about. There are two choices, lots or a little. See them on video by clicking here.

I’ve Been Exposed

SAKIDE has a couple of cute purple freebies sitting out for us to go pick up that look fabulous together as an outfit. One gift is called Pearly Skirt and includes the skirt with belt and option of white fishnets or black. The second gift is a set of two prim tops. My sexy ankle boots are a 10L find at The Battle Fairy Cart at The Wash Sale. They are called the Vala Short Boot and have a really sensual ribbon trim that criss and cross and tie up at the back of the ankle. They come in black, red and brown all for 10L per colour!
