Fatpacking Alex – For Free

Yeah… It’s Monday and there isn’t a whole lot that can fix a Monday, but I think this group gift might be able to sweeten it up just a little! Serena showed the group gift at Chandelle last week (HERE), and she mentioned that it was the free to join group gift and that there was a paid group as well with another gift. In this post, I am going to show you the group gift for the VIP group that you pay 100L for.

I have been a member of this group for months and months, and I have been pleased with each gift that comes out – usually in a whole fatpack, like the mesh Alex Dress, which is the current gift that comes in 8 colours.

The skin I am in today isn’t free, but it is one heck of a steal at SYSP this month You can find Mirror’s Enigma’s Ira in light skin tone for 99L and Ydreece has thrown in a bunch of goodies like French nail cloves, eye brow shapers, a couple of eyeshadow & lipstick layers, teeth & cleavage option, and even a couple of shapes – all for just 99L!

Misa Was Meshin Around

Apple May Designs is participating in The Mesh Around Hunt and their gift you’ll receive after locating the “M” icon in store are the two mesh tanks shown in this post. The above photo displays the Heart Splatter Tank and the photo below displays The Gobbler Tank. They come in a few different sizes so you are sure to find one that fits your avatar.

Yesterday I posted a tattoo from ::ONE STORE:: on marketplace and I have one more from them I want to share… Check out the cool hip tattoo I have on today. It says “I need you now, put me together, make me right” and was just 10L. I don’t often wear tattoos in SL, but these are really cute.

While I was on marketplace last night checking out what’s new, I found that Alli & Ali has their Misa Jet Black Hair on promo for free until July 12th. The pig tail bands are colour change and it also comes with re-size scripts.

The sweet sunburnt skin I am wearing today is not free, but is currently being showcased at The Skin Addiction Skin Showcase. This one is called Molly and is made by Iren. It is available in several skintones and gives such a sweet and innocent look to the features

Apple May Designs 25L Sale

Apple May Designs is having a HUGE 25L Sale Until February 6th, 2012. I picked up the Boho set above that includes the belted jacket and skirt for just 25L. They have sale items scattered throughout the first floor marked by red hearts, and also a large section upstairs in the left wing with ALL 25L items. The majority of the items discounted will soon be discontinued, so make sure you have a peek at Apple May Designs and see if there is anything you like before they are gone for good!

The espadrilles I am wearing were just 1L at Duh! in the slate blue colour. Duh! has several pairs of free shoes/boots for both men and women as well as dollarbies. Even their regular priced footwear is very affordable.

This photo was taken at Surf Beach which is a place I like to chill at from time to time. It just makes me feel like I’m on vacation in the Caribbean

Cold Logic Mesh Dress & A Chance To Win

Cold Logic is not open yet, but is already giving away a fantastic gift and an opportunity to win their whole first design line with a photo contest. By joining the Cold Logic Subscribomatic you will be gifted with not one, but three of these cute mesh winter dresses in the shades of clay (photo 1), stone (photo 2) and ruby (photo 3). I am wearing this dress as a shirt with a pair of jeans (picarra’s FTLO item), however it looks fantastic as a short dress too. The basket I am holding is actually just the box that the dresses came in lol, but I think it makes for a cute accessory too! I love it when stores put their items inside clever little things like this . The Crater Necklace and Earrings I am wearing are a new release from Apple May Designs and are not free – I just liked how well they went with this dress. Apple May Designs does still have a dollarbie music charm necklace available.

Cold Logic will be opening on February 1st, and based on this dress, I really can’t wait to see what else they come up with!

Just One Thing To Say

Carson may have had two good ydeas.. but I just have one thing to say and it is that you ladies should head directly to B!asta because… there are some really cute freebies and nearly freebies in shop right now! For example… The outfit above is called City Charm. It includes the leather pants, top and also the belt for just 5L. You can find it above the fireplace with some other really fabulous deals.

Another thing you’ll want to snag by the fireplace while you are there is the City Lights Dress with the gem applique which is… Free. It’s quite a cute dress and the gems swing around as you walk!

Oh dear.. I do have two things to say… It’s never just one thing with me… /me hangs head in shame… There is ten minutes I’ll never get back that I spent trying to find a “just one thing” pose in my inventory lol

The necklace I am wearing today is a dollarbie from Apple May Designs. It is called the Music Charm Necklace and has colourful music notes on it making it the perfect “match everything” accessory.

Warm Winter Wears

I did a little lucky board stalking last night at the Cafe & Bar Huts on the Remo Sim and won a couple of nice things to share with you! I won the Loose Sweater SOFA Set that includes the big warm sweater, skirt, leggings and scarf at the Milk Motion Hut, and then I was fortunate enough for lucky letter L to come up at the Heart Softens lucky board and I won this sweet updo called Falo that came in a fatpack of colours.

My skin is not free, however is on sale for 90L at Modish for a limited time. This is called UrSake Bronze Tasty and has a bit of drool off the bottom lip (lol, what will she think of next?!)

I am also wearing a couple of newish group gifts from Needful Things – The Winter Bag and also the My Glamour Deer Mouthie. The group is 70L to join, but there are a ton of fun and unique VIP gifts – so well worth it!

Autumn in Paris… Metro

This beautiful amber cocktail dress from Paris Metro can be yours too for free by locating a hidden butterfly at the Four Seasons Plaza location, as they are participating in the Butterflies are Free Hunt that runs until October 25th!

The lovely jewels I am wearing are a gift from Fulo! They are called Gabrielle, and also come in white gold for free. I should also mention that Fulo is currently having a huge sale, so make sure you check out their designs while you are in there picking up your gift!

The hair I am modelling today is a free hairstyle from Exile called Susan, featured at Savoir Hair. I know… this is not a new freebie and it has been blogged previously, but it’s fabulous and may be new to some! It comes in a fatpack of many colours so you can pick your shade!

Renee showed me these eyes a couple days ago – aren’t they gorgeous!? Poetic Colors has these Moon – Autumn eyes out as a freebie in both dark and bright. I am not sure if it’s just me or if it’s the way the eyes are, but I look at them from one side and they are a deep brown and then from the other, a greyish colour… Very cool eyes! Is it just me? I’m curious – try them, and leave a comment to let me know!
