.the event. HOLLYWOOD opens today at 2pm SLT and runs until April 14th. At this very glam event you will find 80 designers with exclusive new release designs and…. almost all of them have a SWAGBAG GIFT that you can pick up on your way out (some of them have a couple!). That’s right Fabulouses… There are over 80 gifts at this event just waiting for you to pick up!

The stunning red Mia Gown I am wearing in the photo above is Masoom’s exclusive design. Chop Zuey is where you will find these gorgeous matching Paparazzi III Jewels as a free gift. This set includes the necklace in two variations (one with a drop, one without), the bracelets, and earrings.

My hair is a Swag Bag Gift from Miss C. Kate is her name, and she’s available as a free gift in blonde, brown, black and red. The hair base I am wearing with it can be found at the Truth Mainstore as a freebie.

Feeling the Love on Valentine’s Day

I’m in love! Yeah, I know, who doesn’t love a man in a tuxedo, right? Lucky for Gavin, I found this snazzy mesh tux at Sin Original as part of the Love Love Hunt. Even the shoes are included – not bad for only 1L! He’s also wearing the new Goldy Teal gift eyes from Amacci – no group join is needed.

My dress is a free Valentine’s Day gift from Snowpaws; there is also a petite version available, so ladies of all sizes can look dazzling today. Oh, and I got our dancing pose at the Valentine’s Sale at Glitterati Poses; all couples and friends poses are on sale until 21 February.

Gavin is a great guy, but I’m so in love with these SHOES! I joined the [Gos] Boutique group for free back when it first opened up, and I’m so glad I did; these special edition Grace Sandals Red Glitter are a brand-new gift for group members. The join fee is 500L now, but… the Grace Sandals regularly cost more than the join fee, so pick up this gift and you’ve got your $L back. Part of what makes these shoes so amazing is the skin matching. To say that it’s easy – and it works! – would be an understatement. Seriously, a couple of clicks and you’re done. Are those red lips luscious, or what? My Love’s Coming necklace and ring are both group gifts from Chop Zuey Couture. I would personally like to thank all the wonderful designers for their generosity this Valentine’s Day. Today has honestly been like Christmas all over again; while I was taking these photos, it seemed like a new gift came through every few minutes! If you get a chance, thank a designer.

Go Medieval in Redrum

It’s Guy’s Day here at FabFree! Must be all the testosterone in the air for tomorrow’s Big Game (the Super Bowl in the U.S.). But our male readers are fabulous too, so you certainly deserve a day!

In case you’re feeling the need to “go all medieval” today, you’ll want to hurry down to PeKas and pick up this Redrum outfit, their current group gift. The PeKas group is free to join, and there is also a female gift in the box. The outfit does not include shoes, so I’ve added a pair of brown Men’s Pirate Boots from ::Duh!::. [:B!ASTA:] Menswear Sale is Cool Beans

Hey everyone. Serena asked me to let you know that [:B!ASTA:] is closing its menswear department. I don’t know exactly when, but she seems to think it might be soon. Anyway, all items in the men’s section are on sale from 5L – 30L, and fatpacks are only 50L. I stopped by yesterday and picked up these pants and shirt for 10L each. I even picked up a set of men’s eyelashes for the same price.

My skin is Jacob, one of the current men’s group gifts at -Belleza-. There’s a 250L fee to join, but you get 3 different skins in almost every possible shade in the box, so it’s really a great value. It Was A Cold Winter Night… Outside These Four Walls

It may have been a cold, winter night outside, but inside these four walls, it was warm and cozy! Like Love, I recently did a little Cold Winter Nights Hunting. And she did not exaggerate about how fabulous the prizes are in this hunt! Check out Love’s post here for more information about the Cold Winter Night Hunt and for photos of some of the great prizes she picked up.

I invited Gavin over to see my new Little Getaway Skybox, the CWNH prize from Designer Prims. I had so much fun playing with the options on this amazing skybox that I may have gotten an eensy bit carried away. Seriously though, there is almost nothing you can’t mod, so you can customize it to be whatever you want it to be. There’s a menu-driven panel to change the floor, brick walls, and accent wood; the rest you can just re-texture yourself. Trust me, your 10L will be well spent on this one! The furniture you see here (most of it) is part of the hunt prize from Cleo Design. It includes two different sofas, a rug, coffee table with candles and fruit, a magazine rack, and a mirror and set of pictures that you can’t see in this picture. Again, I went a little nuts playing with the color options on the sofas. They come with several fun animations, and even dispense props! The lovely artwork you see over the green sofa not a hunt prize, but is a gift from Whiskey Monday to celebrate the first anniversary of Atelier Kreslo. There is also second gift, which I’ll show you in a bit.

I had this empty back wall and nothing to fill it up, so I accidentally on-purpose wandered off into another hunt: The Four Walls Hunt.

The Four Walls Hunt runs until January 31st, and includes 37 stores. All prizes are 20L, but are valued at 200L or more. Be sure to visit the official blog for prize photos and SLURLs. You’ll be hunting for an evergreen tree in a cardboard box.

Ok, back to my empty wall: I saw a picture of the Miller Dresser and Positive Words Art from PILOT and decided that I absolutely had to have it. Can you believe the dresser is only 2 L.I.? Oh, and see that cakestand full of delicious cupcakes? Another Four Walls prize, this time from Sway’s. It comes with the plates and cups you saw on the table in the previous pictures, as well as a couple of cute wall-hangings. Yummy! The Bird Cage Lamp is not a hunt item, but rather a free gift from Sway’s. There is also a smaller version in the box. Over in the corner is another non-hunt item, the Mayfair Trunk (Old Glory), a VIP group gift from {what next} (250L to join). The bookcase and furnishings inside are part of the skybox.

Gavin is such a “Sheldon” that I decided to pick up the Star Party star-gazing set, the CWNH prize from -Hanaya-. It is mesh, weighs in at 9 L.I., and comes with menu-driven animations for up to three avatars. It’s really a lot of fun to play with. Hey, looks like Gavin found something!

Here is an outside view of the skybox. The inside brick texture carries to the outside wall. There is a door on the other side, in case you decide to put your home on land instead of floating in the sky.

More evidence of my “modding madness”: I took out the fireplace that came with the skybox and added this Oak Fireplace, the CWNH prize from [Barnesworth Anubis]. The mirror over the mantle and the two pictures to the left of the fireplace are part of the Cleo Design CWNH prize. And the little daisy on a chair is the other anniversary gift from Atelier Kreslo; it comes in 3 sizes, with this one being the largest. To the right of the fireplace is the Pallet Log Box, the most recent VIP group gift from {what next}. Gavin and I decided to finish off those cupcakes; we’re snuggling in the Warming Up couples pose, the CWNH prize from Atooly.

Oh, and about what we’re wearing: Gavin’s beautifully textured mesh sweater is the CWNH prize from {Epicosity}, and my sparkly Pom Pom sweater is the prize from ::PurpleMoon::. My pants are not a hunt prize, but I’ll tell you about them anyway: they are the R.icielli Mesh SALLY Skinny Pants, available for 10L on the Marketplace. A Cold Winter Tuesday

I’m up bright and early this morning, enjoying the fresh falling snowflakes that twinkle in the sun… I was in a rush to try out my new coat!

Senzafine has their very fashionable mesh Audra Winter Coat in the Prussian colour/print inside their hidden snowflake hunt icon for the Cold Winter Nights Hunt. It Was A Cold Winter Night… Hunt

It may have been a beautiful day yesterday, but it was a cold winter night, a night perfect for staying inside, logging into SL, and doing a little hunting! I picked up several of the Cold Winter Nights Hunt prizes and put together a little hideaway for my sky which I will tell you about in just a moment, but first, I’d like to give you a little info on the hunt itself!

The Cold Winter Nights Hunt runs until February 15th, includes 54 stops and each of the prizes are 10L. You can visit their official blog for a list of slurls including prize previews, so you don’t have to hunt until you are sure you want to pick up that prize, which I sure appreciate when you do have to pay a little for them. I am personally really impressed with the quality of these prizes, and found them to be worth every little linden spent. The icon you are searching for is a blue snowflake.

I am quite sure between Serena and I, we will be covering a lot of the prizes in this hunt… because it’s THAT GOOD, but here is a little taste to get you started!

At Vespertine, after you have located the hidden snowflake (watch out for that Cola Bear!) and pick it up for 10L, you will have the Frostwoods Skybox (mesh / 7 prims) in both bright and darker versions. It includes the “I Live On The Moon Lamp” too.

Inside the skybox you will see that I have used the Frosted Mirrors from Wayward Muse, The Trompe Loeil Shelf With Framed Imagine Quotes, and the Vesta Fireplace & Rug Set in Cream from Digs. The Pillow has comfy male, female and unisex poses in a menu. All of these furnishings are also hunt gifts!

The outfit I am wearing is called Out Of Time, and is the prize that SAKIDE is offering, including the mesh skirt and blouse with the broach. This blouse comes in a regular and a Lola’s version.

My skin can be found after locating the snowflake icon at Amacci. This beauty is called Nuiko and comes with a regular and cold nose version of the skin, as well as cleavage layers and eyebrow shapes.

These sparkling earrings are not a part of the Cold Winter Nights Hunt, but can be found as a free gift at Virtual Impressions. The Samantha Earrings and also come with a necklace (which was interfering with my top – will show it with another outfit lol). They are in a big box in the center of the store on the floor, priced at 0L.

Soleil, Candy, and Coco at the Beach

That title sounds like an exotic drink, and to be honest, I could really have used one today. For starters, it was Monday, and that should have been bad enough, right? Well, it wasn’t, and making matters worse, my car battery was DOA this morning, leaving me grounded for the day, and my dog left me a little “gift” on the carpet. Thankfully, I didn’t get any gum on my shoes like Love did, but I did run into a couple of doors. Sheesh! So the first chance I got, I grabbed my bag and headed out to the beach for a little peace and quiet.

Needing something comfy to wear, I slipped into this pretty, mesh maxi-dress, which is Prism’s Night of the Wolf Hunt gift (#87). Just perfect for strolling along a sunny SL beach in January.

In my “stressful day survival kit,” I have all the essentials for relaxing at the beach: water, sunscreen, my iPad, and a couple of fashion mags. You, too, can de-stress with one of these cute bags by heading over to *COCO* and joining their free group. Plus, there are lots of other gifts on the wall just waiting for you to scoop them up!

Yesterday, I showed you a skin by {.essences.}, which is available this month at The Dressing Room Fusion. Well, I liked it so much that I ran over to their main store to pick up the free group gift that Love wrote about here. Turns out that {.essences.} is participating in the Womenstuff Hunt, and has this lovely Soleil skin (below) out as one of their gifts. I think she has a very youthful, fresh-faced look, don’t you? And the name just calls out for sunshine!

I promise I’m not stalking Love, but after she wrote about the adorable gift hair from Amacci, I decided to head over and pick one up for myself. And while I was scoping out Amacci’s freebie wall, I found these GreyBrown eyes. They come in 2 sizes, and with some extra bling, if you’re feeling particularly sparkly. Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?

We are having a nice little chinook blowing through here this morning, so I thought it would be a good day to grab a friend (The Friendship Bear by Damien Fate @ FATEwear – free gift!) and head out for a walk!

No need for a winter coat today, My new Knit Cardigan will keep me snuggly and warm! This mesh, beige cardigan is placed out as the latest group gift at S@bbia with no join fee!
