Going GaGa for PekaS May Group Gift!!

After getting dressed in my new outfit, I wanted to find someplace fun to hang out…. I found the INSILICO sim, which is a Cyberpunk roleplay community @ http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/INSILICO/190/183/3603… You dont have to be a RP player to enjoy this sim though!!! It’s got a full shopping district, dance halls, RP areas, as well as apartments you can rent if you are looking for a new home in an environment that is certainly playful on the senses!!

Apparently I wear my GAGA sunglasses at night!!! … Me and Corey Hart must be cozy and stuff!! I may not have been sporting armor and a jetpack but I certainly felt stylish in my new outfit from PeKaS… This skirt and top ensemble is May’s Group Gift and fits like a glove <3 It also moves well and is textured with flair…

I’m a Heartsick Twi’lek

Twi’leks are tall, thin humanoids with skin pigment that spans a rainbow of colors. Their most distinctive feature is a pair of shapely prehensile tentacles that grow from the base of their skulls.*

Ever since I first saw STAR WARS: Return of the Jedi, I was fascinated by these mysterious creatures with the strange tentacles growing out of their heads. And now, thanks to Aeva//Heartsick, I can BE one in SL! This lavender beauty is a complete avatar offered for sale at the For Aeva Heartsick event, which started yesterday and runs through May 14th. Love gave you a great run-down of the event yesterday, and Goldie also showed a couple of items, so I’ll invite you to check out their posts for more information about this fundraiser. I decided to participate because I think Amesha Jewell’s skins are very pretty, especially her petite skins, which she recently started selling. So… go check it out!

The Twi’lek Avatar ~ Tyrian Light includes pretty much everything you see here. The skin comes with or without dark or light eyebrows, has 4 cleavage options, appliers for Lolas, Lush, and Puffys, and even has optional teeth and eyelash tattoos. Mesh feet are included, so you don’t have to wear purple SL feet. There are a variety of avatar colors from which to choose, so if purple isn’t your thing, there’s sure to be another color you’ll like.

Twi’lek females were thought to be so beautiful that it was considered a status symbol to keep them as dancers or slaves. And one of the few items that didn’t come with this avatar was CLOTHES, so I picked up the Maya Silks Gown, ~~the latest group gift~~ from :Kastle Rock Couture: (100L to join). UPDATE: Unfortunately, I just tp’d over to :Kastle Rock: to make sure the gift was still available, but alas, it is not. There is, however, a new group gift, and there’s an almost identical dress available as their prize in the Lost Treasure of the Inca Warrior Hunt (which actually looks pretty interesting). I apologize for the confusion and hope I did not disappoint anyone. As of this evening, though, you can still get the Maya Silks in petite size at Kastle Enchanted (same group tag), but hurry because it looks like a new gift is being posted!

Here’s a closer shot of this pretty avatar’s face. I should tell you that a shape is included, but I opted to wear my own shape instead. So your Twi’lek face will look different. Ear cones are included, as are the “lekku” (head tentacles), and jeweled headpiece. You can choose from dot markings or stripes (I’m wearing dots). All this for 100L! I was really stunned when I saw all that was in the box. Plus, what I really like is that you can wear the skin without the lekku and ear cones, and just be purple. I’m sure you’ll see me wear this skin again, possibly as a purple fairy or… I don’t know what yet. But I love that I have options!

Many of us bloggers are getting their “fantasy on” as the Fantasy Faire continues, and I am no exception! I am wearing an awesome mesh body armor available at The Plastik shop called Vandariel, which is on the Evensong Woods Sim. It’s not free, but Care showed you The Plastik’s Fantasy Fair gift the other day HERE.

The free gift I would like to share with you today is the gorgeous Airelle Skin ~ Gemstones that is a free group gift at Aeva! I am only wearing the skin itself, but the gift includes several skin tones, eyebrow shapers, a shape, eyelashes, a teeth layer, and.. even a pair of mesh feet (which of course I noticed after I did pictures… or I would have shown them too). The group usually has a fee, however right now the group is free to join – so it’s a great time to slip in!

Aeva / / Heartsick @ The Wash Cart Sale

Another trip down to the Cart Sale @ The Wash today, and this time I picked up Aeva // Heartsick’s Faith ~ 2 // Okami skin that is available in 6 skin tones for 10L each. This skin is also available in a petite version to be applied to Yabu Petite mesh avatars. What a stunning skin this is, and has inspired me to go to the mainstore and try a demo of the new Faith line!

While I was down there doing some shopping I met Raine Shilling, who is an avid FabFree reader and describes herself as a shape shifter, a vampire, a DJ, a goof off, and a RPer here in SL. Raine was a very beautiful human avatar when I met her, however she wasn’t kidding when she said she shape shifts often, she proved it with a photo of her in a giant dragon avatar! She has a very eclectic wardrobe, snatching items from the carts, left and right as they catch her eye and returns to the cart sales whenever they are running because she loves that she can find such great things. She adds “You can’t beat the prices!“.

Meet Mr. Trill

Meet Mr. Trill He’s a Capricorn, enjoys shopping, long walks on the beach, and standing there looking gorgeous while I dress him up and take pictures. I think he is quite a handsome devil and is probably perfect… Since I made him up!

Mr. Trill was created as we, here at FabFree have a real need to show these mens fashions, and a real shortage of male bloggers to do it! In the past we have had some really great male bloggers, but currently it’s just us girls… so Mr. Trill, and Serena’s Gavin will be making appearances from time to time here, because the guys need free gifts too right? Right!

I couldn’t quite decide on a name, or if he even needs one, so I’m going with Mr. Trill for now, but feel free to add a comment if a name strikes your fancy!

I joined him up at the Aeva inworld group for 10L and picked up the group gift called Pacey ~ Wolverine that includes the shape shown and skin in a few different skin tones.

Next I ran over to Delirium Style and picked up the January group gift for men that includes the mesh printed hoodie, sweatpants and the sneakers too! Does it get any easier for you guys? EarCandy Allusions

I’ve been meaning to blog the mesh black Kira lace top from Baiastice all month, but somehow didn’t have the right look for it. Luckily the sweater is available for group members to pick up on the check out counter in the store. There is a L$50 enrollment fee to join the Baiastice group.

I paired the sweater with the Damask RAWR camisoles from Allusions. These camis come in a fatpack with black, purple, red, and slate. The tops are currently in the Allusion group notices. It is L$10 to join the Allusions group. The basic jeans are one of the staples of my wardrobe and are free at Allusions.

I spotted the Phoebe skins from Aeva (formally Heartsick) at The Wash cart sale. The skins have three different cleavage options, hair bases, and even a shape (not shown) for only L$10 each. There are three different skin tones to choose from and of course I picked up all three.

All the jewelry shown is L$10 each from Ear Candy at The Wash cart sale. I especially love the Double Drop necklace and earrings because the gem can be colored to match any wardrobe. Another steal on the cart is the Boho copper T-strap heels, which include a hud to match skin tone and change nail color.

Got A Midsummer Night’s Dream?

Cilian’gel is participating in A Midsummer Night’s Dream hunt with whimsical gifts for men and women. The Titania gown is the hunt gift for women and for men there is the Got Puck? outfit. Each gift in the A Midsummer Night’s Dream hunt costs L$1. On the male outfit, I added a black Orion hand belt bracelet and leather booties free from Gabriel.

I showed the female July skin from Aeva earlier this week. Aeva is a new brand of skins from the Heartsick creator. The female July skin is a gift in the Aeva//Heartsick VIP notices. Today Aeva//Heartsick VIP members were sent the male goatee Ritsu skin. The Aeva//Heartsick VIP group is currently free to join.
