A Jolie Fleur du Soir

Gavin is humoring me today while I “play pixie” again.

I wanted to show you this gorgeous petite dress, La Fleur du Soir, the current group gift at Kastle Rock Petites. The group is free to join, and the sim is simply lovely, so be sure to give it a wander. You can see a little peek of it behind us (please click to enlarge).

Gavin is wearing the latest group gift from *Ydea*, also free to join. Included are the mesh hoodie jacket, shirt and tie, jeans, and shoes. Gavin’s Rhett hair is a pre-opening, sneak peak from brand-new designer { Quandry }. You can pick it up at the preview price of 100L for a little while longer at {EPIC}. 5 colors are included in the box, all with a little, red tip in the front. Scarlett, a long braid, is also on preview for the ladies.

What I really wanted to show you is this skin. Aeva // Heartsick is currently having a sale, with lots of skins available for 100L each. When I saw that they were previewing a couple of new petite skins, I was intrigued, and tried the demo. Jolie Petite comes in several different shades, and includes a red, rose outfit in the box. Now, I won’t lie to you; it’s a bit of a pain putting a new skin over your petite avatar. Nothing at all like putting a new skin on your “biggie.” But it’s not hard – read the directions! – and I think the results are definitely worth it! Have you ever seen lips like this on a petite before?

My earrings are not free, but they are on sale at !ELEMENTAL PETITE for 50L. They are texture change with silver/gold metals, and 4 different gems. My hair is a free group gift from “”D!va”" (free to join; 30,000 Members Gift), and I’ve sized it waaaaay down to fit. All the “”D!va”" hairs I’ve tried are resizeable, and can be made to fit petite avatars; be sure you take a copy first. This one includes flowers, which I’m not wearing, a “wig” with a couple of extra buns, and there’s even a dress in the box!

UPDATED 2/20/13 12:37 PM SLT: Great news! The designer has put the 2 Jolie Petite skins back out for sale because so many people were asking for them! They are still for sale at 100L/per shade so hurry over and grab them. I just picked up the Black Rose version, and I can’t wait to try it. She will also be putting out a 10L petite skin at The Wash Cart Sale, which opened today and Love wrote about this morning. I haven’t seen it yet, so let me know what you think if you try it!

It’s Dirty Work… But Somebody’s Gotta Do It

Serena decided that this would be a good day for me to go outside and clean up the yard, so here I am… stalling. For starters, the snow is starting to melt, and the ground is a sludgy mess. Plus, it looks like the dogs have left some “presents” around for me to clean up. So basically, it’s a mess out here. Thank goodness I have my new Wellies… at least, they were new when I put them on. Anyway, these awesome, mesh boots are the latest group gift from SF Design (100L to join), and come in clean as well as dirty versions. My clothes – pants, jacket, and hat – are the current group gift from Ydea (free to join). They come with a pair of shoes, but I didn’t want to get them all muddy out here.

Can you believe I got this skin for 1L? That’s right – I picked up Mikael Warface Milk from P E A U on the Marketplace for 1L. And my eyes are a free, wearable demo of Insufferable Dastard mesh eyes; buy the box on the counter for 0L.

I guess I’ve stalled for long enough now. Off do do battle with the great outdoors!

Hunting For Valentines

Have you guys checked out the Valentines Hunt at Ricielli yet? I went down to Ricielli this morning and picked up the prizes I wanted. I love Ricielli hunts because the icons are SO big which makes them easy to find, and they give you a prize preview before hand (which I have added at the end of this post, in case you haven’t seen it), so you know exactly what you are getting. Each prize is 15L and the icon is a heart shaped gift box wrapped with a ribbon. You’ll see it the minute you TP in lol.

One of my favourite prizes in this hunt is the Pam Mesh Jacket that I have paired up with the Simply Ravishing Dress from Sassy! This champagne coloured dress includes Lola Tango Appliers (not shown) and is a free Mon Amour Hunt prize. I am also wearing the Vintage Shiny Floral Jeans (I have shown these a few times already, but I love them!) that I won in the midnight mania board at SAKIDE.

Love’s A Bossy Date.

Poor Love…. She still has no date for Valentine’s Day, and since I am a figment of her imagination and do whatever she says, I guess I am stuck with her again. An Epic Game Day

It’s Game Day here in the U.S., and to celebrate, {EPICOSITY} sent out these cool team hats to group members. Don’t worry, there’s also a hat for you Ravens fans. The {EPICOSITY} group is free to join; check your notices for this hat and another that was sent a few days ago. I really don’t have a preference for the game today, since my team didn’t even make it to the playoffs. I went with the 49ers hat since they are geographically closest to me.

This awesome mesh jacket is a Menstuff group gift (50L to join) from Dark Water Designs. A Cold Winter Tuesday

I’m up bright and early this morning, enjoying the fresh falling snowflakes that twinkle in the sun… I was in a rush to try out my new coat!

Senzafine has their very fashionable mesh Audra Winter Coat in the Prussian colour/print inside their hidden snowflake hunt icon for the Cold Winter Nights Hunt. I am not wearing a shirt or a belt – this is a one piece jacket and as you can see is just beautiful! You could dress this up or down – a very versatile piece.

Good Karma at the Diner

Heading out of town today, I decided to stop for lunch at this cute roadside diner. There was a waitress named Flo with a big, bouffant hairdo, a giant flower on her dress… and they served one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.

But enough of that. Today I’m wearing Vero Modero’s January group gift, which includes the jeans, tank top, fur jacket, and hat (free to join). Hot Stuff in the Cold Snow

I decided to “play hooky” today and take Nessie out for a little fun in the snow. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to be having as much fun as I am, but she’s being an awfully good sport about it!
