A Wee Bit of Summer Fun!

Wee Ones is participating in The Beach Party at The Wash this month. No, they are not a store for petites. Actually Cal showed some of the men’s Beach Party items a few days ago, and I’m showing the women’s items here today.

Hey all you fabulous readers! I’m back with more fabulous items for you all.

The beautiful cupcake wedges you see strutting down the boardwalk are the latest group gift out at [Gos] Boutique. For the moment the group is 500L to join while this gift is out, but it is well worth it! If you want to wait to get in the group once this gift is taken up on June 26th the fee will go back down to 50L till there is another gift.

The tote bag I’m using to hold all my accessories is a cute little dollarbie I found on the marketplace in Simply Sexy Fashion’s marketplace store. The bag originally had a yellow strap, but I changed the strap to white so I was able to show off the cute plaid tote straps.

Happy 10th Birthday Second Life!

So I decided to swing by The Thift Shop event and as I was walking by [RUBY] vendor stall there,  I found this halter top sitting in a cute little bag just waiting for my freebie searching hands to grasp onto.  Well, I hadn’t heard of the store before and decided to check out their main store. Upon arriving there,  I found this adorable shop nestled in the woods and  and edged by the sea.  I snapped a picture on a swing in their backyard.

When I was growing up, The Beach Party movies on our black and white television were some of my favorite flicks, that and Elvis movies… but I digress…. (eeps, showing my age!!)  When I saw that “the Wash” sim was having a beach party @ The Wash (112, 82, 23) , I just had to run on over  and though i didn’t run into Frankie Avalon or Annette Funicello (sad face), I did find quite a few items there…. Linden Labs is gearing up for Second Life’s 10th Birthday (SL10B), and the presents have started flowing! Today they released this… ummm…. interesting, limited edition, Commemorative Bear Avatar:

“Starting today, you can get a free, special-edition SL10B avatar on the Marketplace. This avatar is made with some of the new Materials features and will look even better once that Materials Viewer launches (you can also check it out with the Materials Beta Viewer). I know: Not free Serena, what are you thinking?! You’re right… I just have a personal interest in seeing cancer’s fanny get kicked as soon as possible.
