FINALLY – a day off! I’m actually supposed to be taking Serena out for her Rez Day, but I thought I’d spend a little time relaxing at the beach first. Before heading out, I picked up these cargo shorts and tank top, the Men Only Hunt 3 gift from 22769. This hunt runs until May 31st, and all items are free. And you know how hard it is to find good free stuff for men!
Speaking of free, I’m wearing the new group gift eyes from IKON that Love showed you earlier today. Yes, guys can wear them too! All of my jewelry was also free; my earring and rings are gifts from GABRIEL (free to join), and my bracelet is a group gift from Chop Zuey (350L to join). My flip flops were not free, but are on sale for 30% off until May 5th at Slink. In fact, everything except hands and feet are on sale, so if you’ve been waiting to pick up a new pair of shoes, now’s the time!
Oh, one more thing: Katey Coppola of Glitterati Poses celebrated her birthday on May 1st, and is giving a gift to all of us! The first annual Sand & Sea Expo is on NOW and will only run until May 5th! This fun aquatic event is packed full of featured creations from the participating designers as well as FREE GIFTS! Yes, you heard me right!! There are gifts all over the place set out for you to take advantage of as well as The Beachcombers Event which is a unique hunt… There are two entrances – make sure you check both out!
Each of the vendors have agreed to donate a free gift to the Beachcomber Expo. During this event, visitors will visit the displays, locate the ”Beachcomber Shell”, and give it a click. If they are lucky, they will receive the gift item from that vendor. If they are unlucky, they will be unable to try again for two hours.

Twi’leks are tall, thin humanoids with skin pigment that spans a rainbow of colors. Their most distinctive feature is a pair of shapely prehensile tentacles that grow from the base of their skulls.*
Ever since I first saw STAR WARS: Return of the Jedi, I was fascinated by these mysterious creatures with the strange tentacles growing out of their heads. And now, thanks to Aeva//Heartsick, I can BE one in SL! This lavender beauty is a complete avatar offered for sale at the For Aeva Heartsick event, which started yesterday and runs through May 14th. Love gave you a great run-down of the event yesterday, and Goldie also showed a couple of items, so I’ll invite you to check out their posts for more information about this fundraiser. I decided to participate because I think Amesha Jewell’s skins are very pretty, especially her petite skins, which she recently started selling. So… go check it out!
The Twi’lek Avatar ~ Tyrian Light includes pretty much everything you see here. The skin comes with or without dark or light eyebrows, has 4 cleavage options, appliers for Lolas, Lush, and Puffys, and even has optional teeth and eyelash tattoos. Mesh feet are included, so you don’t have to wear purple SL feet. There are a variety of avatar colors from which to choose, so if purple isn’t your thing, there’s sure to be another color you’ll like.
Twi’lek females were thought to be so beautiful that it was considered a status symbol to keep them as dancers or slaves. And one of the few items that didn’t come with this avatar was CLOTHES, so I picked up the Maya Silks Gown, the latest group gift from :Kastle Rock Couture: (100L to join). UPDATE: Unfortunately, I just tp’d over to :Kastle Rock: to make sure the gift was still available, but alas, it is not. There is, however, a new group gift, and there’s an almost identical dress available as their prize in the Lost Treasure of the Inca Warrior Hunt (which actually looks pretty interesting). I apologize for the confusion and hope I did not disappoint anyone. As of this evening, though, you can still get the Maya Silks in petite size at Kastle Enchanted (same group tag), but hurry because it looks like a new gift is being posted!
Here’s a closer shot of this pretty avatar’s face. I should tell you that a shape is included, but I opted to wear my own shape instead. So your Twi’lek face will look different. Ear cones are included, as are the “lekku” (head tentacles), and jeweled headpiece. You can choose from dot markings or stripes (I’m wearing dots). All this for 100L! I was really stunned when I saw all that was in the box. Plus, what I really like is that you can wear the skin without the lekku and ear cones, and just be purple. I’m sure you’ll see me wear this skin again, possibly as a purple fairy or… I don’t know what yet. But I love that I have options!
The For Aeva Heartsick Event starts today and runs for two weeks until May 14th. As you can see from the Event photo below, there are over 40 designers from across the grid coming to Amesha Jewell’s aid by offering a portion of their sales at the Event to Amesha to help raise funds to replace her dying computer so that she is able to continue designing her creations at Aeva // Heartsick on Second Life. At this outdoor event you will find affordably priced clothing, accessories, skins, home & garden and more! I even saw a couple of gifts / cheapies!

I went down there this afternoon and did a little shopping to help support Amesha and purchased two of her featured skins for just 100L per tone! Each pack comes loaded with all kinds of extras like a shape, eyebrow shapers, freckle & cleavage options, as well as eyelash tattoos, teeth tattoos and all appliers for all your mesh parts. (I am wearing my own shape) I picked up the Cyber Necklace in Pearl White at the Alaskametro shack for 100L too which is donating a large chunk of the proceeds to Aeva // Heartsick! ;)
Make sure when you are visiting the Aeva shack that you grab the City Apartment! It’s a fantastic skybox that has a land impact of just 30 prims for 10L!

I’ve decided today that I’m going to go all dark and spooky for this post, which is why I’m posing in this graveyard which is giving me the heebie-geebies terribly.
The pose you see that I am using in this post is from Model Poses who at the moment is having the Gumdrops Hunt. Inside each gumdrop is 3 different poses, each gumdrop is 5L with a total of 14 gumdrops to find. 42 poses for 70L? What a great deal, especially if you’re wanting to stock up on new poses. Now that you have it on, it just looks like a closed scroll….
Make sure to click on the “What do I do now” box near the vendor…. Doing this gives you a notecard that explains exactly that. (hint:make sure to read this, as it tells you what you need to look for to get your new Hunt Hud to actually work….)
Now that you have your Hud on and you can actually see it opened, it will give you a list of items you need to find to get your key together….

I ran over to the Fantasy Faire 2013 and wanted to post to you all the 2 free female skins and hairs that they are giving away as low lag avatars, they come with painted clothes on the skins, so you are basically walking around in your skin!! *grins* You can pick up these at the any of the Landing Points for the faire, along with a souvenir T-shirt and Landmark pack…. It seemed that ALL of the landmarks were extremely packed at the time and yeah, if I saw, “The sim is full” ONE MORE TIME… I was gonna scream, it wasn’t as bad as Truth’s SALE sim, but yeah, I could only hit a couple of the Landmarks.

I was able to get into Evensong Woods area at the Faire which is being sponsored by Roawenwood. This area so reminded me of Kelethin which was from my days of playing the MMORPG Everquest (which was dubbed Evercrack by my family because I was so addicted it was crazy) Like Kelethin the buildings rest way high in the trees and you walk on ramps to get from one to another. The landscaping is extremely well done and I felt all elfie and fairy like

I ended up getting quite a few things from Roawenwood’s store at the Faire (all of these items benefit the Relay for Life of Second Life so totally for a good cause! That’s my justification and I’m sticking to it /nod nod nod) so I ran home in my Il’Khulthi skin and made a new area at my house!!! With a whimsical skybox, I placed my new finds, some old ones and I added an Intan Dance Ball, and *PRESTO* a great place to dance, and hang out listening to music
What I’m wearing (avie in the middle) The Outfit:{RoawenWood} Zahrah in Violet [the RFL Exclusive Color] - comes with the Bolero, the Sarouel pants, the Banded top (which has Lolas Tango appliers) Necklaces, Circlet, Armbands, Anklets, Bracelets, Earrings and Belts… (it moves perfectly, and fit me like a glove)
Roawenwood also gave me the opportunity to pull out my little petite avatar and dress her all pretty like with these two fairy outfits…
The Petite Empress in Ice Blue and in Black (Both of these outfits come with tiaras, staves, wings (both scripted and non-scripted), bracelets, and they both come with Tango appliers, which you can barely see on me because I keep mine small!! *laughs*)
The Yuale Nura Wintertide Throne Set is pretty much the bulk of my scene here. (This comes with this stone dragon throne ottoman itself (which has built in animations in the pillows for male/female/couple) , a wrinkled well textured rug and this amazing flowing drapery with the wispy purple flowered covered pillars and the twisted brazier with blue flames…
The Yuale Nura Twisted Roots Lantern has these cute fairy lights that seem to dance around it, plus it gives off light! (go figure huh?) I love the wood texture of it and the very fantasy feel…

OMYYYYGOSH it feels good to be back blogging again!
