It’s cStar’s birthday, but the presents are for YOU!

Hey fabbies! I’d like to first apologize for my absence as of late, I’ve been battling a hectic and packed life away from my keyboard, as well as re-downloading ALL of my programs, drivers, software, etc. after having to completely wipe my computer’s hard drive thanks to a lovely (not!) computer virus which infected my system recently… let’s just say my week’s been full of fun!

Second, cStar limited, one of SL’s most loved skin shops, is celebrating their 5th birthday here in SL, but instead of GETTING presents, they’re GIVING 10 FREE skins away! What’s the catch? You have to find them! This is not your standard hunt either, you’ll have to look on various social media websites, as well as in the group (the gift in the platinum group and regular group are the same, so don’t fret if you’re not in both!), and in the store to get all 10. Each skin has a hint NC inside with how to find the next one, and the next one, and so on, so you’re not completely helpless finding them. In alphabetical order, the skins you’ll receive throughout this fun scavenger hunt are:

So, now that I’ve piqued your interest (I hope!), I have a smidge of sad news to share with all of you. I am going to be stepping away from blogging for Fabfree for a while in order to focus on my real life. I’ve sent out a notice to the blogger group giving a bit of an explanation, but I feel that I should share it with all of you as well, so here goes:

Blogging for fabfree has been something I’ve wanted, and aspired to do, since I discovered the blog several years ago, and having the opportunity to be part of this team has really meant the world to me. However, my life outside of the computer has taken an odd and busy turn, I’m not sure it’s going to change any time soon, and I’m honestly not sure I’d want it to. I don’t feel, at this moment, that I have the time to put the effort into fabfree that the readers deserve, and that the rest of the team has come to expect, and so I feel that it’s time for me to take a few steps back and focus on the world outside for a while.

This is in no way, shape, or form a “Goodbye”! I plan to bother you guys all the time, point out freebies when I see them, keep my position as a mod in the fabfree group, and I definitely plan to re-join the blogger team when my life settles down, but for now, I’m going to do “me” for a while…. or rather “us”, since a big part of the changes going on involve my  fantastic and adorable partner.
