It is said that the nosferatu hunt throughout the night and sleep during the day. So I don’t know what I was thinking when I decided to spend a night walking through an abandoned part of old London. I wasn’t able to sleep, and after a couple hours of beating the feathers out of my pillow, I finally tossed on some clothes, cinched up my boots, grabbed a bag of my favorite chips – garlic flavored kettle chips (so I carry a toothbrush around with me… don’t hate), and went for a stroll in the moonlight. It was a very peaceful walk and I was enjoying the solitude.. up until I heard, “bleh bleh bleh… ” I turned to find that I was suddenly not alone. I was staring at a dark stranger wearing a cape, with odd eyes and a creepy smile and a hat that hadn’t seen the light of day since the Seven Years War. He had a strange pallor to his skin and when he smiled I could swear I saw fangs gleaming off the light from a nearby lamp post.
Then I put two and two together, after realizing what he had said and I replied,
“Really? Bleh bleh bleh? Real vampires don’t say that, but that is a cool outfit, dude. Want some chips?”
I extended my bag to him and he took one whiff, shrieked and turned into a bat, causing all of his clothes to fall to the ground in a crumpled heap as he skittered away. As I watched him vanish into the murky night, I muttered, “must not be his flavor” and then checked out what he left behind. Being a discerning wearer of clothes, I wasn’t going to put on just any ol’ vampire outfit. So I checked the labels and discovered that I had scored on a bunch of free stuff! I donned all of the clothing and when I put on the hat… my hair, eyes and skin changed! Kinda creepy… Then I felt something strange about my teeth and realized I was going to need to upgrade my dental insurance. I’d also lost my appetite for chips.. of any flavor. What good is it to have great teeth if I can’t eat chips?? I guess you can’t win ‘em all..
