Ah, another sleepless night. I took a short snooze and had one hell of a bizarre dream. Do you ever get those kinds of dreams where even in the dream you’re thinking what the heck is going on? And then something happens and you’re startled awake? Yep, it was that kind of dream. Oh well, who benefits from my lack of slumber? YOU do! Congratulations! Let’s see what you lovely readers will score today!
One of the characters in my dream was a punk rock star look-alike. She was just someone I made up in my head. Apparently, her name was Reno and she had purple hair. (Don’t look at me like that, I’m serious!) I decided to try to re-create her in my post. First of all, I needed an appropriate skin. Hmm… where to go, where to go… *tries to look thoughtful*
I was sitting on my butt, contemplating the dream to see if I could find any special hidden meaning in it (there was none) when Renee IM’d me. “O on the board for this skin if you want it!” Duh, of course I wanted it. Her teleport sent me to a store called Style by Kira. Quickly I smacked the lucky board and won this Emma Skin 1. Woot! It wasn’t quite the same makeup that “Reno” was wearing in my dream, but I dig it. Feeling funky, I paired it with my Amacci Purple Doris Hair. I KNEW eventually I’d find a reason to wear this hair! (No lindens spent on hair is ever wasted, in my humble opinion 
) Now, a girl can’t diddybop around the grid naked (well some can, but I don’t recommend it most places!) so of course, I needed to find something a rock star might wear. My friend Joycey, who is crazy but loveable, told me I just HAD to get the group gift from erratic. She gave me the LM but didn’t actually tell me what the gift was, so I had to go investigate myself. Having spent all of my lindens on amaretto horses, I was delighted to find that the erratic group is free to join in the store. The group gift is located in the center by the join sign.

The Hailey top is the first part of the outfit. This picture obviously shows the top. As you can see, the “girls” wanted to peek out and say “Hello, world!”. If you are more modest, it also looks cute with a tank top underneath, or even just a bra. Once I finished taking this picture, I paired it with a simple black tube top underneath and loved it. Insta-perm spot in my closet!
Included with the top are these delectable purple leggings with strategically placed purple triangular cutouts. Habit caused me to wear simple flats with the pants. These Fri.Day Basic Flats are not free, but they are by far my favorite shoes in my inventory. A friend bought me the fatpack of these a long time ago, and I wear them with just about everything. They’re a great, classy staple for any girls wardrobe.
Not bad! I put together a look for myself that is definitely something different for me, and that’s good. Second Life has been a place for me to learn how to come out of my shy shell. There was a time, and my closest friends can tell you it’s true, where I couldn’t let any part of my boobs or my butt show in this virtual world. My goodness, I was extremely modest! There is nothing wrong with being modest, don’t get me wrong, but I mean, even in real life I had no problem showing some cleavage. Not in SL, though! So I end this post with a simple thought: don’t be afraid to explore your inner wild side, or to let your creativity shine through in this world, because your own uniqueness is truly beautiful.
