It’s real easy to participate.
1) Find a Talender in the same store you found this sign at.
2) Buy the Talender for 0L, some of them you might have to click.
3) Use the LM inside the talender to move to the next location!
It’s easy as that!

My reaction when I rezzed this was o m g. This tent is HUGE, and gorgeous. That’s my loft it’s sitting on.. and my loft is pretty big. Tent is from the starting point in the hunt: Gorged.

Some of the flowers in this hunt are hidden in very hard to find spots which will stop you dead in your tracks from pursuing subsequent flowers. I think they need to rethink the structure of this quest. It is awfully unfair to the shops further down the line to have their exposure hampered by a few disproportionately difficult placements early on.
One of the shop owners and her manager were quite rude when I inquired about the location of the flower at their shop so I could move on with the quest.
This was not an easy hunt in all of the shops, I certainly agree with you on that point. I have to say, though, that it was a fun hunt, even if I didn’t even come close to finishing it. And the prizes.. holy crow!.. I’m quite happy with the few items I found.
Found out about this hunt on the last day. Sadly there was no tent in my box. Just a landmark. And although it was still the 19th and there was no time specified (which to my mind means the hunt ends at midnight SL time) store owners were taking down their flowers at all different times today.
