Have you ever found a store that just screams retro-elegance? Ingenue is one of those stores and lucky for us she offers two dollarbie outfits. Right inside the main entrance way on the right are two ads: Pink Hawaiian and Ingenuette. Both outfits have great textures with details given to the texture (check out the wrinkles) and seam lines. Go, Betty Doyle! For the richer folks the other items in the store are equally well done and she has wigs to die for if you are into retro.

The Pink Hawaiian is beautiful with the top halter portion of the dress done in a soft pink flowered texture. The rest of the dress is solid pink but the texture having natural looking wrinkles in the fabric where they would naturally occur in real life. As with most items in this shop wearing this dress made me feel like I belonged in a post World War II film. I just needed the perfect hair for this and being a blog about freebies I could not buy one of Ingenue’s wigs so I searched through what I already blogged and felt that ImSoPreddy v2 from Calla worked well for this look. The jewelry I added was the Casual Pearl Necklace from Miriel because of the simplicity of its design.

The other outfit is a logo set that many stores give out for free but this one is a bit different. The top is a logo t-shirt with Ingenue emblazoned across the chest but the care given to detail on this shirt makes it more than just an logo tee. As with the dress the soft blue texture of the shirt has those realistic wrinkles that we all know out real shirts have. The set also comes with a pair of black capris with pastel pink and blue stripes at the cuff.
